The surge in violent crime is global. Fifty one mass shootings in the US alone for the year. There were warnings that this would happen after the pandemic in addition to increases in mental illnesses and deviant sexual behavior. Like other governments around the world, The BaHAMAS is hoping bthe situation wears away. But in the main time trying to bring criminals to swift justice. Is this behavior a result of populations being locked down?

Is thus the US State Departments view or your twisted opinion? The violent crime , especially gun violence is much more out of control than it is in The Bahamas . Just watch the number of shootings that will occur during spring break. The situation here is unacceptable but the killings and not random and not mass killings. They are targeted specific and the country is doing its best to tackle the problem and curb the killings.before the US State Department can take any of the drastic actions buoy propose it must ask the question ‘what threat does tge current crime situation pose to Americans in the BaHAMAS. It must also ask the question ‘what will be the fallout to American companies doing business in or to tge Bahamas, like cruise ships and hotels and airlines and companies that cater to and supply these businesses. It must also ask the question ‘what evidence is there that Bahamians traveling to Americapisr any three bit anymore greater than the average visitors traveling to that country and is America willing to forgo tge several Billions Bahamamians spend in the US every year on travel, shopping, school and college fees, medical and surgical treatment etc. You trying to make a mountain of an adverse situation. Bahamas and Bahamians are trying to fix that situation . You can’t come Across any Bahamians who say it is their intention to bring harm to any American. And they anxiously await the FBI’s investigation of the two American tourists who claim they were raped in Freeport

‘ he was my world, my closest friend the person I spent the most time with, now he’s gone!’ The words of the elder brother of the college student found shot to death in a Chicago college dorm, along with a female companion. Another student at the college, and known to the couple has been arrested and is facing possible charges of the double murder.

. ‘These are supposed to be institutions of higher learning, ‘, Says one administrator, ‘But we have to be involved in so many other things, like students or faculty being killed and having to mourn for them and bury them and having to keep the campus safe, it really defeats the purpose of being an institution of higher learning.’
.
Imagine the sorrow of the family of this young 15 year old Bahamian child, Having his life snuffed out at such a tender age. Imagine the trauma of the older brother, tge feeling of helplessness to see his younger sibling being shot multiple times and his life taken away. And God told Cain’ the earth cries out for your son’s blood that has been spilled.’ Because yet we are out brothers’ keeper. And as the earth becomes even more filled with hatred and violence life becomes more sacred and even more uncertain. For tomorrow is promised to no man.

The AUTEC base is the ‘Area 54 ‘of The BaHAMAS. This government must ensure that this company has significant insurance that can be negotiable in The BaHAMAS in the event something goes wrong. A piece of space junk the size of a minibus is expected to fall to earth in a matter of days

Remember the TItanic capsule? That plan originated ‘offshore’ in Bahamas because tge developers wanted to cut costs and avoid certain b regulations . And see how tragically that ended. The Bill Clinton administration wanted to use Bahamians to test AIDs vaccines and the Hubert Ingraham Administration Beas sold on the idea, even though they were told ‘Bahamians who participate in the experiment will test positive for AIDs but will still be able bto travel to the United States. Now this Space X contraption. Why ditch the rockets all the way in Exuma and have to transport them back to the US? Arrr egg then radioactive or contaminated when they first enter then atmosphere or
Otherwise contaminated or the landings not as predictable and precision controlled to warrant constant landings off Florida

The question if fraud may not be as much an issue with persons living in the country as those living abroad and applying for citizenship. What may happen now is more people will pay Bahamians to have children for them. That way the parents get to stay in the country as well. And this may sound crude, but do you know those children who have to wait until they turn 18 to apply for citizenship tend to make better and more disciplined citizens. Is it because they have something to look forward or maybe the parents ( most if the time single mothers) drill in them that they have ti be law abiding people if they want to get citizenship. So they attend schools get good grades and stay out of trouble. And even when they are granted citizenship, they still tend to be law abiding and productive citizens.

What does confession have to do with anything. They only need to sign the birth certificate or offer a DNA sample and allow the children to get their passports and their rights as a citizen in this country.
