So rather than reduce the cost of electricity, BPL is saying to the Bahamian people, "it is wat it is, now police yourself, put $10 to run you for the weekend and stay in the dark until the next paycheck, bor. ANd they can also disconnect you remotely;ly now. No need to come in ya yard and put lock on the meter for you to call one of your friends to unlock.

Finish this sentence..."If two white non-Bahamians were found floating in Bahamian waters and a Bahamian was found to be using one of the victim's credit card....."

There was a woman that was allegedly raped and thrown in the waters this week. She survived some five hours apparently before being rescued. Here is two healthy and athletic males, at least one with exceptionally good swimming abilities, found floating in a river, both deceased. And someone is using one of the victim’s credit card even before the body is cold. Has homicide written all over it.

So what is the difference between Bahamians owning shares in the Shell plant and owing shares in BPL. From what talks are being floated around, Shell will construct the plant and operate, just like Wartsilla is doing. They will sell power to BPL. So if you purchase shares in Shell, then your interest will be based on power production only at that plan, unless others are constructed in the future. If BPL sold shares, it will be on the wholesale purchase of power and distribution. And it will not be limited to the one shell plant.

The fact is too many Bahamians are earning negative incomes, after being employed. It costs them more to prepare for and go to work than they are earning. And this is because the cost of living has skyrocketed under the current government and continues to climb. Food prices are through the roof and many families find it cheaper to buy fast food rather than cook every day. And this in itself is creating other problems. Dorian was a perfect storm in more ways than one. It can now take the blame for several eventualities Government is taking too much taxes out of the economy and this is causing the economy to hemorrhage. Businesses cannot seem to find an equilibrium in the economy because as soon as they adjust their inputs and try to at least breakeven, the government adds another financial requirement or tax burden. The best hope now is if residents quickly and miraculously decide to hurricane-ravaged areas and start restoration. This will create at least some employment and activity in the retail sector. Otherwise look for more tax increases. Much more. And a bleak 2020.

So did the government demand the $10 Million that was overpaid be returned with interest?

The fact is BoB is performing well and, in some cases, performing beyond expectations. It was the provision for the $6 million hit on the bank that created the net profit loss. The net loss should be wiped off in the current quarter and if the bank does not have to pay the claim, there will be $6 million increase in assets. There has been ongoing attempts to shutter BoB or force the government to sell it at a fire sale price. Banks , like BoB and Commonwealth Bank has helped soften, if not crack the monopoly held by Canadian banks in the country. And once BoB is dead and buried the forces will go after Commonwealth.

As Election time draws nearer all the skeletons will be creeping out the closet and trying to breathe a new political life. How much did she get paid to stab Minnis in he back again’ ‘Et tu Brute’?’

Obviously you think I am dumb enough to be your messenger lackey. You spur your racial beliefs and feelings and hatred for foreigners and everyone but yourself. Posting your opinions over other peoples' names. And, fortunately, (or unfortunately), that even includes your mother. No one is off-limits with you. And yes, Bahamians head the lists when it comes to you spurning hate-filled messages and degrading posts. Stop being a coward and say clearly what it is you wanna say. They must pay you well to do what you do, but most people still see you as a hate-filled idiot.
