So what was really behind the oil spill on Grand Bahama and why the freelance effort to clean it up and stop the oil from penetrating deeper into the water table. It will then travel miles underground from the original spill.
Hunt has always been a hot headed spoilt brat who was difficult to work with. Maybe his insurance is covering for list days at the market but the individual tenants are not so fortunate.
Those that were here on a legal work permit must be given reasonable time to wrap up their affairs. And this doesn’t apply only to Haitians but any other foreign workers whose job no longer exist. They have to be given reasonable time to leave. Some may have personal effects that need to be shipped. Others may have to make living arrangements for when they return home. Some may also have children to deal with.
A good thing when Black men can pass on their business acumen to their children with financial means to continue as well as leaving substantial, well documented and e valuable contributions to their country. RIP
Do you know if the government mandates an evacuation for a hurricane and they ‘forcef’ removes you, you are then a warden of the state. So if you are injured or lose your life as a result of that storm/hurricane, government is then responsible or legally liable. That’s why in the United States a mandatory evacuation means authorities will sternly ask a person to evacuate. If they refuse, then they must sign a waiver saying they are fully responsible for whatever consequences of their remaining in the affected area.
The long lines are real. And the crowded shelters. Friends in Freeport beats it forced them to avoid the food lines and try scrap food elsewhere. They were also trying to secure a portion of their home to move out the shelter. But they left for just a few minutes only to return to find all their tools were stolen. In a separate incident their neighbors’ door was kicked in and items including fridge and stove were stolen. Desperate people are heartless.
Because this storm has grown in size more islands of The Bahamas will be I experiencing tropical storm winds tonight or tomorrow. Grand Bahama Bimini And Abaco will be under Hurricane force winds. New Providence, North and Central Andros Exuma Cays, Eleuthera and Even Cat Island will experience tropical force winds. The hurricane may not go into Florida but skirt along the coast up to The Carolinasand Virginia Beach then back out to sea. But because of the size and intensity there is the potential for major damage including beach and coastal erosion.
The EYE is on target to go into Marsh Harbor, then on to West End and down to Freeport where it will go back out to sea and head over to Florida. Grand Bahama and Abaco may be the hardest hit of all the landfalls as they will both get the eye, it the hurricane continues on its present course.
