So ya think dey have inside information to invest that kind of money just on air? Did Brent Symonette make promises to them based on his position in government? Did he resign from cabinet to make things look good?
If marijuana is legalized, the profit and big money will be in the medical marijuana and the extractions. Where standards have to be met. Most recreational marijuana will be home grown until the big giants commercialize the production, processing, and distribution. A joint will cost under a dollar, so it will be cheaper to buy it than to grow it. And you can tell by the $30 million these guys say they are investing, some even in the absence of marijuana being legalized, it will be a market that is difficult for the small (Bahamian) man to compete in. And, of course, after a few years, the recreational market may fizzle and or become so oversaturated that no one can make a dollar..
Do you think New Providence will be experiencing this same foolishness again next summer? And despite the 3-5 hour power cuts the electricity bill has increased. Some customers say theirs have doubled. Are the power cuts a smoke screen to rip consumers off?
A non fiery crash of a helicopter in 16 feet of water with no survivors deserves further investigation, especially since there was no communication of mechanical trouble. I would say.
Almost Thirteen Hours passed from the time the helicopter took off and the time it was reported missing. And on such a short flight which would have been about an hour or so. There have to be a better means of monitoring air and sea craft. What was the possibility of anyone on the craft being rescued? Was any distress calls sent out and who will be responsible for preserving the craft and the debris for a full investigation. Surely the family of the owner would want a full investigation as to the cause of the tragic crash.
Why don’t these jackasses just shut up and keep quiet rather than trying to put an idiotic and totally unbelievable spin on gross incompetence and maybe even a direct and concerted effort to keep Bahamians in the dark fraustrated, losing money in their businesses, throwing away spoiled goods and medicines and having to buy and replace damaged appliances and equipment. The enemy is upon this nation and the devil is a liar and he will surely be defeated. Whether he’s st BPL in the VAT or whatever form he takes on. BPL your hands are dirty and your soul is not clean and that is why you so love the darkness. But out of darkness light was created.
So Brent Symonette’s election and appointment to cabinet was nothing more than a smash and grab. He used his money to smash his way in to government, grabbed what he wanted and running away. Laughing at the Bahamian people’s dem. SJust like the John Bull robbery. smash-grab-rum no run away!
#He added: “At the end of the day, we have to live here in a violent and peaceless country. We will not advance and build a kind and gentle nation that we all desire where we can live in peace and harmony with one another. Let us embrace each other with love and let us understand that it’s not the love of power that will carry us anywhere but the power of love that will heal.” . The murders and shootings have been going on for over a decade. Haven’t yet heard a government say they will go in the communities and try rescue the young men. Or funded an agency to to do. To meet with them, to talk with them, to assist them, to identify the underlying causes of these killings. The only way to stop the killings and the murders is to indenting what and who is causing them.
