Is he under pressure by foreigners to do what he did to Potters Cay. Shut it down and let it die a slow painful death, keep your eyes open . See what happened to Cuba. Watch what is happening in Dominican Republic. Two high profile Bahamians were killed in Turin and officials in that country are feeding garbage. Venezuela is an oil rich nation and local residents have to wait days sometimes to get gas, when they can afford. Jamaica fought off the wicked, foreign invaders for decades and now ther have a stronger economy because of it. Don’t blame Haitians for wanting to leave their impoverished homeland and wanting to go elsewhere to earn a living. Haiti was destroyed because of its success as a free, Black nation. As were many Black communities in America.

The proper name is UB and not UOB!, dummy. And it is a good thing, great to allow more students to attend university. A ‘C’ average student doesn’t necessarily mean an underachiever or someone who is not intelligent enough to attend university. In fact he may be more well rounded than an ‘A ‘ or 4.0 student. And even the Ivy League schools find that students have a better college experience when there is more variation between the students academic skills, and that doesn’t necessarily have to involve failing students. But lower grades students tend to participate more in extracurricular activities, including sports, band and various clubs and also act as cohesion or a catalyst amen bf the preppy kids

The biggest fear is government going in and changing the attributes that make Arawak Cay and Junkanoo Beach attractive and appealing and/or making it financially impossible for the present operators to continue and they get forced out or they try to make or create a limited and restricted access an also contribute to the demise of these two zones.

As for medical marijuana, many companies in the USA Canada and elsewhere have spent years and millions of dollars on research to develop strains of marijuana most potent in the chemicals extracted for medical purposes. They have already gotten the cultivation of marijuana down to a science where they can get the highest yield, control the ‘ripening ‘ of the of the plant along with other variables. Barak Obama said he was not in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana because the multi billion dollar companies would come in and commercialized marijuana like they do cigarettes and alcohol. So it would not be unusual to see a $5.00 pack of weed with 20 joints in it. And of course people, young people especially, who never had intentions of smoking will be the major target. Obama preferred decrimilizing weed rather than legalizing it. Then of course there will be speciality markets like there are for Cuban cigars. This is where smaller growers can have a niche selling naturally grown, special blends etc. unfortunately if and when marijuana becomes more legal internationally, the laws of The Bahamas will be over ridden de facto. And while there should be no rush to follow the crowd the government should prepare itself for s legalized marijuana. Did the legalization of web shops create a gambling epidemic in this country or are the webshops still in their growth and development stage and gambling will level off once the products mature? One web shop chain keeps its customers happy and excited not only with a high promotion campaign but by also introducing new products and gaming events. And, of course this company has dominated the market. Not unlike Super Wash in the clothes washing business.

It is a great wonderful idea. But do you think it will get the approval of the US State Department? Seeing that it involves Black Bahamians...

That’s what you want us to believe. But YOU and the poster below you and The jackass below that imposter are the real killers. Doing the works of your father, the devil. Have you forgotten that America started wars over illicit drugs? Have you forgotten that America killed one of its own sitting presidents over drugs? Get thee behind me, Satan! Y’all will soon be exposed. The man of perdition will be revealed as well as his workers of iniquity.

When the story first broke, reports were that the bodies had bruises consistent with falling. Then it changed to ‘death by drowning.’ And while there were rumors of a third person being involved and even a third body being found, that didn’t go anywhere. The clear fact is young Bahamians are losing their lives at home and abroad at a much too frequent pace. And Bahamians living or traveling abroad must stay on alert as the world is no longer a friendly or safe place.

John says...

O if that was two foreign visitors killed like that in The Bahamas, their home country was not buying that ‘drowning ‘ bull crap story. The headlines would be ablaze, the travel advisories would be flying and the country would be swarming with international press and investigators, which is not a bad. Every murder, ok every suspicious death should be fully investigated. But was the investigation into Princess Diana ever conclusive?
