So Zhivago Laing is calling persons who oppose the Bahamas joining the WTO conspiracy theorist. But wasn’t this man at some point in his life a minister of the gospel ? So what did the Bible say about a one world system or new world order? So maybe Laing rest down he bible for better worldly opportunities. Wasn’t it conspiracy that kept slavery actively effective for 400 years? When the countries Britain, France Holland Spain and the United States commonly agreed to make slavery legal. And didn’t they use the Bible to justify and legitimize slavery? Wasn’t it Britain that first broke ranks and end slavery, as it is doing now and exiting (or trying to) the European union? Will is pay the same price that Haiti has paid and is still paying for leading the charge to set fellow slaves free , even in the US after slavery was declared illegal and countries still wanted to hold onto their slaves. A spider doesn’t spend most of his life spinning webs that are almost invisible for the heck of it. That’s how he gets fed. And al Laing ‘’ s training and experience with the workings and benefits of the WTO doesn’t his qualifications Absolute. Unless he’s vodka.

With the increase in traffic accidents and other incidents one can become disabled in an instant and it is only through support and efforts of third parties the one can make the transition to being a disabled person. Then there is also the incidence of head injuries or substance abuse that may cause even young individuals to seek psychiatric care.. Family and other care givers must know the importance of their support in successful recovery.

When you look around and see how the economy, at least the retail market is drying up, and some say came to a complete standstill since the increase in VAT, many managers are more concerned with keeping the doors open rather than meeting the employee's needs. Retail stores are being hammered, so much so that one large retailer has already started displaying Christmas decorations...in September, when school has barely opened. And even with the 40% increase in minimum wage less than three years ago, many employees expectations are that they should be earning more. Much more..without even a thought of where this extra money is to come from, or what they can do to help increase their company's revenue. But can you blame them? the cost of living in this country is outrageously high. But the cost of operation is also extremely high for the business. Electricity bills has increased some 40% in six months with no world market forces dictating this increase. With more skilled workers and trained staff, both the employer and employee may consider ironing out their differences before deciding to part ways. With the entry level semi-skilled worker the dedication to the business is less, and because their job satisfaction is already low and their pay expectations are higher than they believe they can achieve on that job, they have no problem walking out and slamming the door behind them. So with the employee on edge because he is seeing his business go closer and closer to losing its ground and the employees "can't see what they are working for the friction will increase.

It was more disheartening and unbelievable that after Hutchinson has got more than double the value of the Lucayan property, they still sneak in at night and try to t'ief the people tings. What type lowlife, hoggish animals they must be. What has Hutchinson done, as a coporate citizen for the people of Grand Bahama ever? Do they offer scholarships, build bus stops, anything? Hope the pm and the government remember their stinginess and heartlessness when time to negotiate with them again,

In the main time,..this blundering government have established Bahamian merchants toeing line at the Ministry of Finance, like Oliver Twist, to get customs duty exemptions. "Please, Sir, Marlon, "I want some more." Isn't the Customs Department capable of doing their job? The petty shop mentality and cherry picking will destroy them. But O, "its da people's time."

This sounds more like a divorce decree rather than the government purchasing a hotel from an owner who was desperate to get rid of it. " the inventory, open or unopened, used or unused is not included in the deal, not even the dishes? Who buys a hotel that is partially operating under those terms. Minnis seem to have a negotiating team that was weak and came across as being more desperate to purchase the hotel than the Chinese were to sell it. In business, you don't get what you deserve. You get what you negotiate!
