The same quote that was used last week: "***to keep the poor from getting a fair trial and to deprive the needy among my people of justice, so that widows can be their spoil and they can plunder the fatherless."***
(Isaiah 1:23
Your rulers are rebels, friends of thieves. They all love bribes and chasing after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, and the plea of the widow never comes before them., words of the Bible, not mine). It is not a police officer's duty to meet out punishment. His job is to capture the culprit, **keep him safe** , charge him and take him before the courts and present evidence. Whatever happened to "*Guilty until proven innocent?*" (Freudian slip or just pure reality).

Do you know the largest aircraft carriers can generate enough fuel that they don't need refueling for 20 years? And these carriers supply all the electrical and power needs for over 6,000 personnel. And the largest submarine can stay beneath the surface for six months at a time and also has enough fuel generation capacity for 20 years. The submarine also makes oxygen from sea water up to 10 times what is requires to sustain its almost 3,000 personnel. But here in the Bahamas it is still about strange and unusual ( Ok, suspicious) fires that damage equipment to the tune of millions of dollars, and dinosaur union bosses, who try to remain relevant, but still plunge the entire island into darkness even even a minor dispute. Someone says the country cannot wean itself off fossil fuels because the dinosaurs wont disappear. But aside from that, there are cities that have so modernized their electrical grid, the cost of electricity has become almost negligible in the budgets of most families and no longer one of the biggest expenses for businesses. Some have incorporated wind and solar and other renewable's and has allowed bigger customers to sell electricity back to the grid. Many have implemented variable pricing where customers pay premium rates at peak periods and can even get free electricity during low demand periods. But here in this country we still here the song 'we don't need no water, let it burn baby let it burn and argue over the price of makeup that wasn't even lipstick for a pig, mostly in darkness or in the fear of being plunged into it at any minute, whatever that means.

So when was it failed parenting for a 35 year son to be living at home or is it a crime? Statistics show that over the past 10 years, because of the economy in the US even, even married couples were moving in with parents. And how did you jump to the conclusion that the son was not the bread winner for the family? And taking care of his mother? Or at least earning an income. A woman's son is missing for two months and the best you have to offer is to bash her for her son. How cold and ignorant.

And the part of the video where the handcuffed young man was complaining to the police that his hand was bleeding. The officer's response was, "you ger soon be bleeding out ya neck." They had already knocked his teeth out. Remember there were over 20 police involved shootings that resulted in death since Marvin Dames and the new commissioner took office. anyone who saw the video saw the young man was subdued and not resisting..just asking the officer, who had his knee in the boy's neck to 'ease up' off him because he was bleeding. No one could watch this video without becoming emotional., especially after the young man told the officers he was on his way to work, before they knocked his tooth out. Police assault on young men is one of the greatest events that fuel crime and anti-social behavior in this country, especially when the young men are innocent and have never been exposed to that type of behavior before. Violence begets violence. The former commissioner did not tolerate it.and attempted to weed out officers (some who were secretly gang members) who indulged in it.

Well maybe only God can save us because he warns us that the people who kept us in slavery for 400 years are still out to destroy us. They hated our forefathers but they hate this generation even more. So they give you their Hennessy and cocaine and guns and invite you to go kill each other up. But you ain’t seen hell yet. Wait until Donald Trump attempts to build the third holy temple. He that hath eyes let him see( for himself) and he that hath ears likewise.

The common agreement is that we live in a sick society that needs healing. A society that breeds criminals and tolerates crime to the point of it being too unbearable. Too many young people are seeing friends and family and coworkers killed. Many young men have become walking zombies, with lack of feelings, no sense of direction, hopeless. Mummified. And, yes to the point that they see death as the only exit. How did we reach the point where the persons who supposed to hold the future has become the country’s greatest enemy? Not all of their own doing. Can someone search the script or scriptures) and see what has gone wrong. What does it mean that the fathers have eaten sour grapes and now the children’s teeth are set on edge?

Unless and until the police stop abusing innocent young, men, locking them in rooms and beating them to a pulp, knocking their teeth out in the public's view and threating to 'make them bleed from their necks, we will continue to have the problem with angry young men wreaking havoc on the rest of society. Uniforms should not give any police to carry on like an outlaw gang banger.

John says...

Let's see if we get a response from the PM about the video going around where the young boy was beaten by police, had his tooth broken and face bloodied. The boy told police he was on his way to work and they still beat and detained him.. And this is where a lot of violent crime starts..you don't have to go to the bounds of hell to see that.

‘The platform boosts no management fees.’ Try accessing the site and you get an error saying you don’t have permission to acc. As for the Central Bank’s 5 percent fee. Even you use credit cards for a foreign purchase there is a 5 % ‘conversion’ in addition to other fees. Our dollar must no longer be on par.

One vendor on R. M. Bailey park described Back-to- School shopping as one of the slowest and most miserable seasons she ever experienced. ‘People were complaining about prices and even the colors of the socks. Same sock I been selling for years. They probably just didn’t have money like that this year.’ Yet you see all the school children in new uniforms and shoes. Did they shop abroad?
