So what do the Greeks, Canadians, Chinese and even Americans do with their money? Don't they all send it back? At least some of it.

Again you demonstrate your ignorance of reality. If you go to the average college in the US that has students from The Caribbean or Africa, South America or other countries, and visit their dormitory room or the apartment where they reside, they would most likely have their country's flag or paraphilia from their country. This is especially true for athletes.

Well first things first. The police claim there was an armed robbery (of a store according to some reports) and these two persons, the one who was shot and killed, and the one that got away, fitted the description of the suspects. Was there actually a robbery of a store and should the store be named?

Is crime really down? When you add the number of police killings to the number of murders, the homicide rate is basic the same.

The problem is taxes are so skewed towards the innocent, hardworking man he will either die broke or die leaving unpaid taxes. The rich or elite put so many holes in the laws they create that they get away without paying taxes while breaking the backs of the poor man. It is sickening to drive around this island and some family islands and see the number of closed and shuttered businesses and the number of Home dwellings falling into disrepair. That’s not an indication of persons not wanting to pay taxes. That is testament that they have lost the ability to do so. Barely surviving.

Is it correct that the victim of this police shooting is the son of a police and may have had no involvement in the crime the police were investigating?

There have always been a love/hate relationship between Hait and Bahamians and in recent years this seemed to have turned into a ‘love to hate. ‘(Haitians) affair. Maybe this is sparked by the fact that many Bahamians are now catching (economic) hell and some now find themselves living on the level of the average Haitians or at the bottom of the totem pole. Or too, it may be that Bahamians have to deal with the fact that not all Haitians are scraping the bottom of the social or economic barrel and so Bahamians take offense that Haitians can come here and live better than them. Then there is the ever evolving question as to what to do with Hatians who come here illegally or with their offspring, many who were born here and have never been to Haiti or no other country. Even Minnis own government was at least appearing to be launching attacks on Haitians when their Minister of Immigration announced he was considering doubling the work permit fees for gardeners and maids. Then when the prime minister, had himself announced a deadline and told all illegals or persons without status to get it or GET OuT. Then there’s the all out assault on shantytowns and efforts to eradicate them. In all of these instances of policy making or enforcement the majority persons affected are Haitians.
