born a lamb, but speaking like dragon...
"*Suetonius, a Roman writer of the first century, records the story in his Lives of the Caesars: “When Atia [Octavian’s mother] had come in the middle of the night to the solemn service of Apollo, she . . . fell asleep, while the rest of the matrons also slept. On a sudden a serpent glided up to her and shortly went away. When she awoke, she purified herself, as if after the embraces of her husband, and at once there appeared on her body a mark in colours like a serpent, and she could never get rid of it. . . . In the tenth month after that [Octavian] was born and was therefore regarded as the son of Apollo*.”

You cannot manufacture guns and ship them around the world, illegally ,to kill up other peoples' children and expect your children to be safe at home.

Not only do we need to bring speed to the system of inquiry, but reduction to the number of killings. The shooting and killing of a large number of suspects is not a sign of good policing. To the contrary it is an indication of a weak police system or vigilante justice or something else gone wrong in the system. Police must be made accountable. Especially when the public already are suspicious of the police in relation to the number of murders going on in the country thousands over the past decade.. Hundreds.unsolved. The people need to know about the exercise here 30 persons were arrested under the lights and direction of OpBAT helicopters. Thirty persons arrested. How many brought before the courts and charged. Or are the rumors about large amount of cash and drugs being taken on helicopters true. The police must account

All's well that ends well. As 'Brave' Davis said when moving the motion, 'it is not about the numbers. And the outcome was a that whole man did not have to be cut own and thrown away to bring resolution. There are no bruises left that will not heal. Many bared their souls and cleansed their spirits. Others chose to maintain party lines and defend wrong. The biggest man in the house humbled himself, took his lashes and came through the exercise not bitter, but renewed. Re-inspired. And the woman is not angry. Satan is angry now.

Unfortunately, this is the eight school shooting in the US just the six short weeks of 2018. And after gunning down seventeen people with an AK-47 rifle, most of whom were his former classmates the 19 y/o suspect is still alive and in police custody. SIX who were accused of shooting at and/or pulling weapons on police in this county are dead. Efforts are already underway to have this young man, who plowed though his former school, killing everything that moved, declared insane. You cannot export violence and don't expect chickens to come home to roost. The freelance disposal of American made weapons around the world is all too common. It is a big market. A big and very lucrative market. Do You think they worried about who their guns kill? They only wants to get paid. A market driven by greed. And bet more than 90 percent of the gun related murders in this country were committed with American made weapons. More than fifty percent of the weapons from the CIA's "Fast and Furious" scam went missing. Thousands of weapons. so don't sit here and try play innocent with your lame ass story. 'bout 'guns don't kill people.'Please...guns don't manufacture themselves either, for that matter. Those who making the guns, and those who distributing them and those who facilitating the use and distribution and manufacture of guns are responsible. and those who make the movies like, "Valentines Day Massacre", to impress and inspire these young people to do the work of satan. Giving young people every weapon then need to destroy each other and themselves. Who is the *subhuman* and who is the *animal* in this story? The blood is on your hands.

It was not a show. It was a divine revelation that showed most of our leaders' faith is grounded in Christian principles and the teachings of the Bible are still relevant. And also many of the bills they attempt to pass, like spousal abuse, and the one the would have permitted same sex marriage are foreign. And the people must stand untied against these bills and show their leaders they will not tolerate them. Just like they did not tolerate the missteps of the speaker and sent their representatives back to the house to fix it.and to humble Moultire to apologize and say even after he won the vote of confidence. He could have been pig headed and didn't have it. These most fitting ending would have been for everyone present in the house to join hand and sing, "We shall overcome,' against the wicked forces, ***Porcupine***, that seek to divide and control this country and its people. Moultire was not too big to say sorry and admit he erred.

It is a grave insult to any Bahamian to walk downtown and see the number of foreigners working in the stores. And they don’t even acknowledge when a Bahamian walks to the store. But apparently there’re presence is making no difference economically as the number of stores closing is not small. But yes it’s time to do something with Bay Street as the waters edge is fast disappearing. Remember the song ‘What you gone do with Montagu?, What you gone do when she go boom?’ So even though Bay Street is in a sad state don’t wait till she go ‘ boom’ to try fix her.’

A teen was in critical condition after being shot in the head near the Mardi Gras parade route at Carondelet and Union streets on Tuesday (Feb. 13), and another was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg, New Orleans police said.

NOPD reported the double shooting at 3:30 p.m. Details were scarce, but NOPD Deputy Chief Paul Noel said the shooting occurred after a fight broke out on Union Street involving 10 to 12 people.

Even though the motion of no confidence was defeated in that the mention was amended by the
Government to a 'vote of confidence' an supported by the majority in the House it was an exercise that was needed to clear the air. Four member voted against, one member abstained, seven were absent and the rest vote in favor of the vote of confidence in the speaker. And if you tuned in to the parliamentary proceedings at the rijght moment, it could have easily been mistaken for a church service, given the amount of scriptures that were quoted, sermons that wer preached, high praises dumped on the speaker along with much chastisement.

So did Hubert Minnis take a ‘Donald Trump ‘ on the farmers? One would think their plight would be an easy one to address considering the need for more food production and food security in the country. Also with ready and easily accessible markets considering all major food stores and some hotels have indicated a strong willingness to purchase local produce. And government has access to many thousands through its Social Services food assistance program. But to slip out of the back door?
