Eliminating rats in a building the size of the hospital is not a simple. By the time you treat one area the rats return. And because there are so many hidden spaces you can’t just use poison and the rats crawl off and die leaving a stench for days in an enclosed environment. But there may be a need for more effort to control rodents in especially the more populated parts of the island. Just to count the number of rats dead in the streets on a given morning. Especially after the garbage truck has passed. And the love areas with wires and electricity. Many people park their vehicles for a day or two only to open the hood and find rats have built a nest or bitten up wires on the car.

Ok so let’s give the police the doubt of the benefit: let’s assume the police are right and criminals have been pulling guns and knives on police officers. And as a result of their actions they are being killed. Shot multiple times until there is no life in them, none. So unless there’s an inordinate number of criminals out there with a death wish, more specifically criminals who wish to be killed by the police then shouldn’t the number of persons engaging the police in gunfire and drawing knives on police officers decrease and not increase? Then what is it then? Is it a rogue police force with a ‘hit’ list or with, at least a profile of criminals they want to kill? Then the next manifestation you will see is police officers turning against each other. Shooting at each other and even killing each other. You will see officers tripping out and losing their minds. Being committed to Sandilands and being dismissed from the force. Because killing is not a casual event. And the conscience doe not take a vacation. In fact it work overtime when you do something wrong. That is why most criminals end up getting caught It is very serious. And by then the foreigners who you have partnered with and jinxed you to kill your brother will have gone. They will have fled with a clear conscience. Because to then killing comes natural.

Even though the chance of having this motion passed, it will be a good exercise in attempting to clear the air , especially as it pertains to the embattled speaker. it may, at lest cause him to check his behavior.

Aeegeaon you are really lost. You seem to forget before the infamous drug 1980’s the average Bahamian never heard of cocaine or knew what it was. Marijuana was the extent of illegal drugs in The Bahamas, if fact most of the Caribbean. And even before Bahamians got involved these shores were flooded with the drugs (cocaine). Then as Bahamians got to know the value of trafficking cocaine as compared to marijuana they got involved. And yes there were many dead bodies. Lot of double cross deals and underhand dealings. But the amount of money that was left in these islands is a small drop in the bucket compared to went to the US, to Miami and New York and LA among other places. There was a drug loop where most of the narco money ended back in the US. And yes cocaine use and cocaine money help ruin these shores. But any police commissioner who has 18 dead bodies under his belt in the space of a few short months has nothing to be proud of. Especially when you consider that several of these killings by the police were multiple victims. No, there is no way to sugar coat that.
