If, by your own admission, you are rusty, as a pilot, because you haven’t flown in a while, and if you are flying into a place you are not really familiar with, and if there’s a more than 50% chance you will encounter bad weather, the last thing you would want to do prematurely is close out your flight plan and take all attention away from you. Such that ten days pas before there is even a search began for you. And you are missing in a remote part of a country that is mostly deep ocean.
Well if ya caa’n hang people who willfully and wantonly and intentionally takes the life of another person then devise a punishment for them to feel the pain of their actions. One that is more effective than having them laying up if Fox Hill Motel getting high and fat off the taxpayer food. Get a glass encased podium and parade they ass in public every weekend. Allow the public to throw eggs, rotten tomatoes at them (although the glass will prevent them from gettin hit. And hang a picture of their victim(s) in front of their cell door. Taunt them some much about the deed they did. Taunt and remind them until they lose their minds and pray for death. But death will not come easily or quickly because they must pay.
The man intentionally bought himself a 10 day head start in disappearing by closing out his flight plan apparently while still miles away from his final destination. Another episode of ‘How to Disappear?’ Treat the matter like a crime investigation until proven otherwise.
> An aircraft normally would be reported overdue in an hour, and this is ten days in the open Atlantic Ocean. It’s incredible,” he continued, “he (Sanco) closed the flight plan so air traffic wasn’t concerned, and then you expect them to come off radar because they’re descending.
The problem when you make the post like the commissioner of police one without term limits is that when they want you out, they will get you out and gone. And while Greenslade may be a good cop with much usefulness left in him, he cannot remain on the force without the move being perceived as a demotion. Maybe the time has come where a ‘police board’ consisting of senior police officers is established. These will be retired or inactive senior officers in good standing and they will act not unlike the board of directors of a company. They will meet and set policies and advise the commissioner and his senior officers.
Puzzling. Reports are the pilot closed his flight plan, meaning he was close to his destination in Rum Cay. Yet debris or at least part of the plane discovered on Eleuthera. Something is awry. Did the pilot become disoriented.
Don't you expect this man to stand up for his fellow Haitians? It should be expected that he will try defend them, even in their illegality. Illegal immigrants. And since he is one who hops on whichever bandwagon is favorable at the time you cannot say he is a true FNM supporter turned rebel rouser. Then too, Minnis put himself in the direct line of fire by not allowing his minister of immigration to make the public statements rather than doing it himself. Illegal Immigration is an ongoing challenge for the Bahamas Government, and while it may be necessary to rattle the cage from time to time, as Minnis is doing, the Immigration Department is one of the few departments that seem to transition from government to government effectively and they have been very active and visible over the past years making checks and deporting illegal individuals. And as you know illegal immigration and human smuggling are evolving criminal activities.
The difference between reading and comprehending. Show me where I suggested it was ok for road shops to operate without paying the fees you mention. There is no law against working on your own vehicle or family members. Secondly, what was my conclusion? Hopefully mechanic shops can become like barbershops where qualified persons can rent out a booth (bay) to do his work. You the one who needs to wake up and understand what you read!
