One of the biggest problems they have in the devastated isythus far is looting. Especially now that another storm Jose is about to hit islands that are 95% destroyed
Some of the same islands devastated (Flattened) by Irma are expected to get hit by Jose. Barbadua has no airport no port no hospital and it may hit. Turks and acacias may get surge up to 20 feet meaning the island will be completely covered. Surge will also be a factor for a Kline crooked island and mayaguana
Under the present track the entire pan handle of Florida will be impacted. There will be storm surge From the Keys all the way up on the Eastern seaboard. With current track of Irma and current conditions damage to Florida can exceed $300 Billion!
South Andros may need to be evacuated as tint only will the eye wall pass over there but the storm will be over Andros almyfour days as it makes a Northerly turn. Can persons go North rather than everyone coming to New Providence
Ninety Five Percent of the homes have been demolished by Irma. The island has been declared uninhabitable. Survivors are being transported to nearby island of Antigua
Stop and frisk is the dirty white mans game used to target black persons in the US and p formerly places like South Africa. It has no merit except to intimidate the victims and make them grow angry towards the police. If there is going to be stop and frisk then also do it at the gates of Lyford Cay and Albany and old Fort Bay with the suspicion that these are where drugs, currency and guns are being smuggled. Also do it at Odessa Airport and random searches of yatchs arriving Lyford Cay, Paradise Island and The Abaco. The bottom line is someone is benefiting from crime in the Bahamas and it is not the young men who are out there lost their lives.
The government needs to advise the people that Hurricane Irma over New Providence and Andros will be at least a four day event. Beythe Hurricane is expected to make its turn to the North just after it crosses over Andros the effects will be similar to when the eye passes over though not as intense. There will be a lull in the s winds ( most likely sometime Saturday). Then they will pick in again (later Saturday and Sunday and on thru Monday). Of course there is always the chance that Irma may change course or forward speed.
