Calling us violet/nt predators, sub-humans, thieves, incompetent, corrupt etc., But the minute a foreigner is caught in a compromised position, and many are, they say Bahamians are using foreigners for scapegoats. Foreigners are just as corrupt and dishonest. In fact many come to the Bahamas believing they can get away with their scams.
Been calling BPL since June to check my house. Lights were dipping and fridge, a/c. Tv' even cordless phones stopped working. Electrician inspected the house and found nothing wrong. For weeks BEC did not even acknowledge my calls. Then they says they been to check the problem but no one was home. Then finally they called and said the problem was not in the house but through the corner where I lived. Despite that I now have to replace or repair all the equipment that was damaged.
