So only after Christie got knocked out of the area a and Brave Davis got in the leadership chair did he realize the flaws and blemishes he has are more than superficial. So now Christie will be made the scapegoat for Braves weaknesses. Best to start grooming someone else and bring a whole new clean slate come 2022. And if more activity of thieving and corruption are exposed the PLP will be in the political wilderness for at least ten years. Brace or no Brave.

It was a fair punishment. The policeman get to keep their jobs after being demoted and the commissioner gets to show that he believes in second chances.

Furthermore a revived and profitable BoB would spell even more trouble for RBC / Finco.

the further deregulations by the Trump administration will give US banks an additional $27 billion in profits this year. Are the US banks headed back to the Pre-Obama era where they 'did as they please" and went into bankruptcy?

well they stopped your cohorts from raiding the treasury and that saved the country millions in just 100 days. Further by showing they are getting a grip on the country's finances they may have starved off another downgrade. And by taking control and not letting everyone dip in the cookie jar like they did under Perry Christie and Brave Davis, the country will experience a finial upgrade within 6 months. Now then can move to less pressing things on the overload plate of governance left behind by the PLP.

What I don't understand is the people who be beating up on Bahamians 24/7. Calling us violet/nt predators, sub-humans, thieves, incompetent, corrupt etc., But the minute a foreigner is caught in a compromised position, and many are, they say Bahamians are using foreigners for scapegoats. Foreigners are just as corrupt and dishonest. In fact many come to the Bahamas believing they can get away with their scams.

Been calling BPL since June to check my house. Lights were dipping and fridge, a/c. Tv' even cordless phones stopped working. Electrician inspected the house and found nothing wrong. For weeks BEC did not even acknowledge my calls. Then they says they been to check the problem but no one was home. Then finally they called and said the problem was not in the house but through the corner where I lived. Despite that I now have to replace or repair all the equipment that was damaged.
