The fact of the matter is it is well and good to reveal these acts of tief'in. But government must make serious efforts to recoup some of the people's money that was stolen. especially from people like Shane Gibson and his cohorts. this man is too bold and brazen with what he has did to the Bahamian people's money. And for his second term in office tiefin people's tings. Make an example of him..for starters...times serious

When Dr. Nottage abandoned his own political party to join forces with the PLP, he did not realize the price he would be paying for it. Perry Christie placed Dr. Nottage in one of the most demanding and stressful posts available and kept him there without giving him a chance to catch his breath and breathe. Anyone who knows him, knows Dr. Nottage did his best. And from all accounts and purposes, Dr. Bernard Nottage was not among those tainted ones who who raped, robbed and ravished the national purse and squandered the people's money. Not once was his name called. Wishing a speedy and successful recovery.

You will soon see those businesses and persons who were financially propped up by the deep and widespread government corruption crumble and fall apart. Never has there been this level of corruption and thieving in Bahamas government. It has left the country crippled. And the crooks should not be allowed to walk away.

Can it get any worse? It is great to expose the millions that got tief or misappropriated but what is the end result? No money getting paid back? No one being charged? And the FNM fell off as the people's loyal opposition to allow this level of corruption to go on for so long unexposed. Steps must be taken to ensure that these tiefin criminals never see the halls of parliament again. But you threaten your own MPs with jail if they do likewise but will you let so many of this set walk away as millionaires while the country suffers from their hemorrhage?

They need to listen to the Queens speech from the throne as read today. So much of it is so relevant to us.

So what reason did The Chinese give for not repairing the hotels and allowing them to remain open. This is the worst shape Freeport has been in for decades. Yet the much enriched Port Authority remains both silent and invisible.

John says...

Like I said shortly after elections. Give the FNM 100 days before you start to judge them. By them you will know if it's really the people's time or with all the talks the FNM was just rolling out enough rope to hang themselves. 'Be patient my brother, be patient as a farmer is patient as he waits for the crops in his field to ripen '

The name of the previous tenant was revealed today on radio talk shows. He had two international franchises operating at the airport but after a dispute with his business partners they pulled out. He tried to operate under the Kafe Kalik brand but apparently the overhead was too high so he gave the spaces up. May still be operating in Freeport airport along with some other ventures.
