A question was asked on social media today. Why do white Bahamians come out to vote, then you don't see most of them for another five years? Shouldn't they participate more in the governing of their country. That being said, yes Perry Christie is a much greater speaker than Hubert Minnis and so is V Alfred Gray. Christie and Gray can stand on their feet and mislead the masses and Gray is known to tell lies from the pulpit. As lawyers they are trained to speak convincing, even in the absence of facts and hence the Bible cautions us, 'woe unto you lawyers who put on to the people more than they can bear.' And unfortunately most of our politicians are lawyers and have been putting on the people more than they can bear. Minnis does lack eloquence as a speaker and he would be a fool to agree to debate Christie or Branville McCartney if he know that is his greatest weakness. When the matter of trust comes into question would you choose the doctor or the lawyer?

A score does equal 20 but 'scores' in the plural is seldom used to describe a number under 100. For example four score and ten means seventy, but if you say , 'there were scores of people there, with both 'scores' and 'people ' being plural, then you give the intended impression that there were 'hundreds of supporters' there. And if you were to say, for example, "there were scores and scores of supporters there", you give the impression that there were many hundreds, may thousands of supporters there. The best thing you can do with a lie is continue to attack it until you knock its brains out.

WoW..someone gat their facts really wrong. *The Tribune* is reporting that the rally was attended by scores of supporters, others in Abaco says that less than 100 people attended the rally. So who do you believe? Guaranteed they will fly in supporters fro Grand Bahama, Bimina and New Providence next time.

Well if you watch the desperation of the PLP, ( The millions of scarce government funds they are spending pre-election, The attempt to silence and even jail persons who oppose them), the dissatisfaction of the masses. The disillusionment of many on the family islands, some who have yet to receive help from the 2015 hurricane, and many in New Providence and Grand bahama who are struggling to recover from Hurricane Mathew, the crime situation, where there were over 600 murders and will probably be another 9 murders before elections, worse than it has ever been in the history of the Bahamas, yet no substattive plan set forth in 5 years, the unemployment rate that is now worse that when the PLP came to office, The Bah Mar fiasco that seems to continue to tangle and twist, The dump fires that are now also in at least one family island. The gender bill that will resurface, the spy bill , this is a failed government.

The PLP is predicitng they will win the election 20 to 17, to commerate the year 2017. They claim two seats will be independent and/or one will go to the DNA. I think it will be reversed. The FNM will win 21 seats, PLP 17 and Loretta Butler-Turner will win her seat as an independent candidate. If this happens, I foresee her re-joining the FNM at some point and getting a high profile post with that party. At some point it was sthought that Branville McCartney may have won his seat as leader of the DNA, but his charade with LBT, where he prematurely accepted a post as leader of the opposition in the senate, then also abandoned that post abruptly and prematurely, has put question to his success in the election.

the truth needs no defence and if you notice PM Christie did not respond to any of the questions put to him, except flip the bird. And if it was Christie who ordered the arrest of Omar Archer on false or even Trumped up charges, this entire nation should be concerned and enraged. Some of the questions are (1.) Does the pm own a $15 million home in Atlanta, Georgia? No answer. (2) Did the PM hold contracts with Bah Mar in his son's (Adam) name for pool construction and landscaping services (this is when he gave the middle finger) (3) Does the PM have any interest in the condominium project being constructed directly across from his residence?, no answer. (4) Does the PM have any interest in Playtec, the parent company of Island Luck? Interest that may compromise his position as pm and/or the granting of gaming licences to Playtec or any other government contracts with this company? no answer. Then, of course there was the ever elusive question about the VAT money..questions every Bahamian citizen would want answered before Election Day

He said 'they say I was in jail, but i know different because the holy spirit came and dwell with me, so I say I was in heaven. "But Paul had faith in the living God to see him through his trial. “On him we have set our hope,” wrote Paul, “that he will continue to deliver us” (verse 10). But as Paul’s life demonstrates, God often delivers us out of troubles we are already in, not necessarily from troubles before they begin.

Yet, as we must, Paul was able to rise above his many afflictions. How did he do it? And how can we surmount our trials and troubles? Paul didn’t overcome by his own strength or will. He never took personal credit for being able to bear his painfully heavy cross. He attributed his spiritual muscle to its true source — Jesus Christ. Paul said, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).

Apparently a lot of you did not know about the two possible murders 9involving high ranking police officers and one of the apparent victims was also a police officer with very high standards) and also an apparent insurance fraud (also involving a police officer) where an individual also died, that Archer was exposing. Yes making petty, personal attacks on politicians and/or their families is not a good thing, but for a country that has had over 600 murders in 4 years and 9 months, and over 1,100 murders in a decade don't you think it is time to start digging a little deeper? A lot more deeper for that matter. Two young, school age boys were headshot and murdered, execution style, left on the side of the street like two dead dogs, and the country has no clue as to who did it and why. Yet the people remain silent. Yes a prison cell is an uncomfortable and lonely place, and being on a hospital bed suffering from injuries inflicted by someone (or even a gang of people) else or inflicted because you were willing to stand up and give oppressed people a voice, and maybe you do feel that you are fighting for people who don't care. but some people just choose to vote in silence and leave change to the power of the ballot. then maybe the commissioner of police should, no must,also have his term limited, if only for the number of murders that happen while he was commissioner, and the number is not decreasing...

If you think only Jubilee Garden and that area was affected by the dump fire get up 5-6 o'clock on n the morning and look outside. The smog is worse than any major industrial city. And guess what? That what you been breathing for the past four weeks, especially while you were sleeping. My God people, how long now? How much more your willing to take?
