This is shaping up to be one of the most strangest, weirdest, interesting but not yet exciting elections in recent times. The country is in economic shambles, the opposition is in disarray and not united, the electorate confused and not even interested in registering, making this one of the smallest percentage of eligible voters to register. Candidates are ratified and s drop out the race, while others switch parties like basketball players in the NBA. Some who try to register are being discouraged by the process and others are being turned for stupid if not idiotic reasons. The boundaries commission is overdue to meet and with four short months left for an election, one has to wonder what the heck is really going on. Yet in good faith one should make every effort to register to vote.

What Moncur was saying was that as a 60 y/o married man he could initiate sex (jump on top) with his wife at anytime without the fear of being charged with rape. This is in reference to the bill that would have a married man to be charged with the rape of his wife. The bill that Moncur called "a wicked piece of legislation " was soundly defeated.

Parenting is not a simple, easy task today and definitely requires the input of both parents. Children have the access to television, the internet and social media, electronic games that encourages violence, disrespect for authorities, and even murder. And of course cell phones. Most parents are not as technically savvy as their children and so they have no way of restricting their children from the usage of these devices or even censoring them. A broken society is usually a reflection of a broken family and the anger and violence and lack of tolerance built in so many is unbelievable. And yes it is reflected in the way they drive even. Some suggest that diet has strong influence on behavior and one fast food chain has been promoting its "angry" food for several years now. As if to give the message that being angry is being normal. And unfortunately there are families living in the same house that have little or no interaction with other. But they all have Facebook and so that is the behavior they reflect. They 'block ' people out of their lives and lose civil skills.

One has to wonder why Freeport seems to have become such a " hard sell" for tourists lately. Obviously more tourists are traveling and many use to love the slower, laid back Freeport environment. Is Freeport not being properly marketed? Atlantis seem to be holding its own but one can hardly watch tv for a few hours and not see an Atlantis commercial. When last you saw a commercial advertising Grand Bahama or any of its hotels?

Sounds like a clear case of tit for tat. Just that one can hurl insults more eloquently and indulge in the subliminal more than the other.

But at the same time he also tried to deny that st least NINE of the last murdered victims were clearly known gang members.

The Commissioner may not have realized he spoke prophecy when he spoke of the recent spate of murders and about those who are involved: "They are not strangers to each other they know each other they fellowship together and party together ." The first murder was committed over jealousy. It was not among strangers but between brothers. The Bible says :'as was it in the beginning, so shall it be in the end." Brother against brother, father against son mother against daughter and the whole, entire on a roller to decayand destruction.

The commissioner is being very disengenious and very misleading when he says 'yes in some cases, men are killing over men." The situation is if a young teen boy is the victim of having his best friend killed, murdered, executed, slaughtered, aniliathated, he will retaliate. But the commissioner try to make it like a gay vibe. Shame on him.

The commissioner has been saying the same thing for years. Farmers have to remove weeds before they choke and kill their crops. But the scriptures tells Up to do what?
