Well at least The Bahamas Defence Force won that one. When the confrontation was with the Cubans they sent MIG jets and sank the defence force vessel causing loss of life. But expect the Dominicans and other poachers to get more aggressive as fishing resources become more scarce and the Defence Force has more capacity to guard our waters. The captain of the Defence Force vessel that apprehended the poachers and his crew should receive commendation fron the government, or the Defence Force or both. It is understood that his wise decision making and ability to keep his crew calm but in control is what prevented loss of life. The confiscated boats should be auctioned off with the catch to pay for the damage they caused to the new defence force boat.

Well it matters because there are prophecies based on knowing who is the true nation of Israel. And if you have the people wrong……how can your prophecies be right?
If or when you do find a people that have ALL of God’s signs/curses, you will have found the TRUE Israelites of the bible. You may not want to accept who it is that fits God’s description and have the signs/curses, but it is what it is….God’s word cannot lie!
God, in giving us signs to look for so that we CAN identify Israel, also gave us a way to tell who is NOT Israel!!

Foreign investors who come to do business in this country. They are still regarded as saviors and many come here in neckties with empty bags and with the only intention to deceive and carpet bag. And many get away with it. 3 The countries that the smartest and the brightest migrate to, be it The USA, Canada, The United Kingdom, and and now even China. These countries are gaining young, healthy, well educated and productive students at the expense of the Bahamas. The loss to this country must not only calculate how much it cost the country to bring the individual to his level of production when he leaves, but also the earnings potential of the individual for the rest of his productive life.
Do you think there is any government minister who will leave office, or at least go into Election 2017, at least $1 million richer that they came into office? And when you drive around the inner city of New Providence you can see the 'so many' houses and other buildings in need of repair. There is definitely a need for Urban Renewal and small home repair assistance but if the system is being abused to the point ti is, then the whole exercise is counter productive. It appears that the whole program has become a side window (albeit cash) to line certain peoples' pockets.
