A November election could have been a great kick off to the campaign season and could have been used to demonstrate that the FNM is a party united and a force to recon with. But when the same set of revel rousers keep making the same set of noise it is a que that they will never be happy until they get everything their way. Everything? Nothing more than selfish ambition. The feeding of ones ego. Time to answer the question of leadership for the last time before the election 2017. Sit those down who are not satisfied else show them the door. The mountaintop is not meant for everyone to see. Challenge to leadership is a good thing only when it is done for the right reasons. Some people just determine that the election bandwagon ain't going no where unless they have the reins of power in their hands. But a horse and even a dog will always be more loyal to the one who gives him water and feeds him.

What the snake needs to do is advise his government that the days of running a dual economy must end. Forthwith. You have the struggling , law abiding, honest citizen who is burdened and saddled with so much taxes it is impossible to barely stay in business much less make a profit. Then you have the cronies and political lackeys who use every effort to not only evade taxes but to avoid paying all other bills associated with their business. Yet the overburdened tax payer must compete with him. Then you have the foreign investors whom government feels must be rewarded for finding his way to these shores and get even more compensation for opening a business here. So he is exempt from paying most of his taxes and some seldom pay the taxes they are required o? And what do they do with their profits? Export them to their home country. So essentially they milk the cow for free and when the milk dries up they fly away and usually leave heaps and heaps of unpaid bills. That's what needs to be fixed in this country. Too much money is leaving and to much taxes on local businesses

Whoever wins the government must have plan in hand and must hit the ground running. They must be able to work as a team and not spend time and resources fighting against each other. Unless that alternative government presents it self and soon, things may as well stay as they are.

The disputed involved China, The US, the Philippines and several other countries. Despite The international court ruling against China having any claim to the islands, China is refusing to vacate or give up possession of the islands. The situation is expected to escalate as the US and other countries are claiming rights of passage through sorrounding waters which will be denied if China is allowed to keep the islands

There is no need for VAT exemptions. Minnie's must decide if he will eliminate customs duties and stamp taxes and keep VAT like it was proposed. Otherwise scrap VAT and keep the old tax system. So why are they letting the same China Construction and China Bank proceed with construction at The Pointe by Sheraton before they complete Bah Mar and get it open? Anything to help put a dent in crime. Now there needs to be a greater effort to arrest those factors that cause so many men to become anti-social, violent and then criminals. One thing is when young men who are unemployed and go before the courts for child support. They are sent to jail when they cannot pay. If they are legitimately unable to pay, social services should offer assistance. Stop making poverty a crime in this country.

The video they showed looks more like water bugs than bed bugs. Bed bugs are much smaller and will not be that active in the daytime. They hide in the crevices of mattresses bed heads, pillows and even in the carpet. But water bugs feed off bed bugs and their waste and food waste and scraps and are attracted to damp moist area, like s seldom used bedrooms, especially if they are close to water The trade mark of bed bug bites is they are usually make bites in straight lines. To get bitten over 300 times sounds more like the trademark of sand flies. Some guests also keep pets in their rooms, like dogs and cats and they leave fleas and eggs on the bed and carpet. Then there is also the problem of lice in hotel rooms. If you travel to Florida and some southern states, they no longer put spreads on your bed, just sheets and a blanket in winter. The new policy is when a guest checks out the room, all the bed linen must be changed.

The mattress can be a jungle of dust mites and bedbugs, milling around among dried remnants of blood, saliva, sweat and basically all the other bodily fluids you can think of.
Bedbugs have become minor celebrities this week with a report from the National Pest Management Association showing that the problem is on the rise. Bedbug calls have gone up by 81 percent since 2000, the study said, and 67 percent of surveyed pest management companies have treated bedbug infestations in hotels or motels.
These insects are about a quarter-inch long and eat at night, said Howard Russell, entomologist with diagnostic services at Michigan State University. Impressively, while humans can live only a matter of weeks without food, bedbugs can live up to one year without eating -- and their meals consist of blood.
"They're well-adapted to being a parasite," Russell said. "It's really hard to starve them out."
Bedbugs, which leave behind itchy bite marks and can even lead to allergic reaction in some people, aren't the only pests that could be lurking beneath your pillow.
About 10 percent of people are sensitive to house dust mites, said Dr. Clifford Bassett, an allergist in New York. They are even more of a problem for people with asthma.
As if the presence of microscopic eight-legged vermin weren't gross enough, consider that it's not the mites that cause some people to cough and sneeze. It's their excrement.

When persons are hungry they will do things they will not ordinarily do just to get a bite to eat. Crime Just ride around Nassau and see the number of homeless people or persons who have 'lost it' wandering around. Hopeless. One time ago the Red Cross or other charity organizations use to go around and give these people a warm meal and a cool drink. Today they say it is too costly and too risky to do this. with temperatures expected to get even higher maybe regular citizens can do more to help these people. Simply as buying a $10.00 case of water. freezing it and handing it out once a week.
