Fake Aboconian...Obviously you are ignorant of what is happening in the world. Why is the US government, and France and Canada now allowing transvestite persons to use bathrooms of their choice , rather than male or female designated ones. Doesn't this imply the fact that they are neither male or female or that they can be either male or female or even undecided? Secondly It is not simple and you need not be STUPID, not to know if someone who had a sex change operation is male or female. How would you know? They have almost perfected these procedures! What if you were an 18, 19 or 20 year male and you go clubbing and meet someone who has had a sex change? How would you know? Many young men do not find out until the person themselves tells them or they hear it from someone else. Then they are trumatised and start to doubt their own sexuality, their own normalcy. If you are a young hetro sexual male, looking for a long term or lifelong partner, it this fair to you, to be deceived into sleeping with someone who was once a male or marrying someone who cannot have children. And yes I do have a problem with a 'chick with male organs ' exposing itself to my wife or young daughter. They are the ones making the big issue. If you choose to have a sex change operation, why should your decision cause discomfort or trauma for others? Wake up and Take your blinders off. If persons are pushing for babies not to have sexual identity until they decide if they are male or female, then this throws traditional marriage out the window, because if a person born with male genitila has the right to decide if they want to be female then they have a legal right to marry a male. If I Am high as a kite then you are as dumb as a door nail or your intention is to mislead. Less than 1 percent of all Bahamians who marry get married to foreigners and of that number 20% marry Jamaicans. So why the need to change the entire constitution to accommodate them when there are other provisions for them to make their spouses citizens. Who is this law really for. Obviously you have been flying a kite when you say the referendum is not about immigration when three of the amendments does involve immigration changes. Your argument is weak and closeted. They lack substance and so you have to attack me rather than pass your weak points across. Obviously you support gay marriage! This is deception at the fullest. the mind of a reprobate. ARe you paid yet?

Despite how much this government try to sugar coat it, this referendum is about making sexual identity between male and female more obscure and giving more sexual rights to individuals. It is an attempt to make national barriers more permeable and traditional marriage more difficult and less desireable. Just watch the US or world news and see what's happening in France in Greece in Canada and the USA. Greece and other European countries have over 16 million refugees they don't know with and most likely want to disperse them to countries around the world. Despite North Carolina requiring persons to use bathrooms of the gender that appears on their birth certificates the US government has ordered all states to allow transgender persons to use bathrooms of their choice or lose funding. This means transgender now have more rights than heterosexual persons since they can now use any restroom. How long will it be before organizations like the boys scouts and girls guides either have to close shop or allow any person to join their organizations. There is now a move to prevent doctors from indicating the sex of an infant at birth. The claim is a persons sex is determined by what is in their head and not which sex organs they are born with. This means it will be more difficult to trace persons who had sex change operations. This means countries, like China, who have restrictions on the number of children a couple can have, can now 'convet' female babies to boys. It also means that overpopulated countries, like China can transfer some of its citizens to less populated countries like the Bahamas. Its all a part of the new world order. And even if this referendum is defeated they will find a way to get the bills passed because The Bahamas has already signed on as participant.

From where this seems headed seems Izmirilian needs to gather his legal team and head to the courts to Perdue his claims for collusion with China Exim Bank and sabotage by China Construction Company. Obviously the bird process does not favor him and, in fact, he may be prejudiced by his prior dealings with China Bank and their opinion that he is bankrupt and does not have the funds needed to complete Bah Mar and get it open and keep it running. Is it time for him to kiss goodbye to Bah Mar and his $850 million?

I guess you'all didn't read the first part of the article which says the young man was 22 years old and an accounting major at COB. He also said the car went forward and crashed, "after he got shot and no longer had control of his legs.' Being twice this young man's age I have been stopped by the police on more than one occasion and they (the police never try to make it a pleasant experience. They try to intimidate you from the out set and treat you like a criminal. By law a police is suppose to tell you why he stopped you, even before telling you to exit your vehicle, but their usual response is, shut up and do what I tell you." Then when they get you out the vehicle, they proceed to strip search you and your vehicle in the public. On one occasion I was made to remove my shoes and stand in the rain while the searched my vehicle. Then they (police drove off and still to this day have not told me why they stopped me of what they were searching for. This matter could have easily been avoided if the police had asked the driver to present his driver's license. But even after they shot him (multiple times) they continued to abuse him, refusing to call an ambulance, one putting his boots on his face and him being told to prepare to meet his maker. The first experience many young men in this country have with physical violence and abuse is at the hands of police officers and so they fall out of society and turn rogue gang members. This type of police activity help create the crim problem we are faced with today.

Before he apologizes for voting "NO" in 2002 can the former Chief Justice show the defeat of the 2002 referendum has (negatively) impacted the lives of the average Bahamian, male or female? Of some 75,000 marriages taking place in the Bahamas, barely 700 involves a Bahamian being married to a foreigner and of that number some 140 are Bahamians marrying Jamaicans. Countries that have passed these bills are now in battles for LGBT rights, including the rights to use rest rooms and including the rights of same sex couples to marry and to adopt children and for persons to determine their own sexual indentity and to have the right to change it as often as they wish and to not have children declared either male or female at birth. God created male and female, he created the races, and ethnicities and languages. They want to change all that and make everything as one . A state of control and confusion.

So who will be monitoring the Referendum to ensure there is a proper count? These (government/ politicians) seem so desperate for a "yes" vote can they be trusted to be honest?

John says...

Why, when and how did they revert from licences being computer printed to hand written? is this to aid crookedness and corruption? Each year when you licence your vehicle(s) they give you forms to fill out saying. "so nexx year when you come you ainn gatta wait so long 'cause erryting gone be in the computer and we jes have ta print it out." Well das one dam' selfish computer 'cause it ainn' print out no licence yet.' At least not for me.

What does carnival and the referendum have in common?
While you think about it do you know that the Federal government is taking both the state of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina to court over bathroom issues? Both the state and university require persons to use bathrooms of the sex indicated on their birth certificates while LGBT persons believe they should use bathrooms of choice or separate bathrooms should be provided for them. And that is exactly the referendum is taking us.: "The transformation of society by the promotion of non traditional sexual activity." They want to attack social norms and unity by the promotion of same sex marriage, bisexuality, feminist ideology, abortion, immigration and even the adoption of foreign children by same sex couples. And these bills will give men or women power to take their children out the Bahamas and to live with them and their same sex partner anywhere in the world. Remember the father and the mother have equal rights. Not only do they want to destroy any barriers between nations, but they want to eliminate any differences between male and female. This will lead to further uprooting of family values, Spiritual decay, brainwashed youth who are void of traditional values, Not only do they want intermingling of the sexes but a new form of immigration and a further intermixing of the races. A boarder-less world. A form of self pride to the point of having to fake joy (yes carnival where they dance in the street almost naked and eventually it will be same-sex partners). And they want you to vote for it. And the more they say ,'it aint about that", the more it seems to be "about that." It may not be about same sex marriage, but same sex and no marriage at all.
