Supper. So Bah Mar was built with Chinese money, Chinese labor, chinrse marerials. Now can you see why they are so nochalant about the property opening? The lion's share of the $2,3 billion already reverted back to the Chinese economy while very little of it flowed through the Bahamas. Even worse is the Bahamas has over a $billion in assets sitting idle in the project

One of the biggest mistakes Zakis made was to sign a contract where it was written in black and white that he could not terminate the contractor on the project for any reason. China Construction and China Bank are essentially one and the same as they are owned by the Chinese government. So the window of opportunity for collusion was wide open. The government was
Wrong for allowing so many Chinese workers skilled, unskilled and semi-skilled to come in the country and work on the project while Bahamians sit idle and couldnt even sing fot their

It is only right and lawful that if these two immigrants ate caught they be detained. Imagine the precedent that will be set if they are allowed to roam free. The other option is for them to be deported. Immigration can pretend not to find them for a while and let them leave the country and determine their own fate.

Do according to BN while Obie Wilchscome was decieving the public and assuring Bahamians that the public access to the PI beaches was safe ans secure, he was busy begging the foreign man to give him extensions to the beach access. How low can he go? Now you know who the China gift of artillery and weapons are to be used on. Welcome to pre Mandella South Africa.

Vote for the same equality they gave Bahamians on Bah Mar, web shop licences, The pointe and Beach access

How could Fred Smith tell the Minister of Immigration not to touch immigrants who are in the country illegally? Is he just throwing up a smoke screen and creating a distraction while these two men sneak into the USA? The order by the supreme court required the men be released from jail. It did not give them status in the Bahamas, neither did it make them immune to immigration laws

Didn't Obie Wilchombe swear that this beach access issue was straight and was NEVER going to be taken away???

Watch that you don't see the Bahamas government having to take China to some international court or third party mediation.

The fact is the entire Bah Mar deal was flawed from the outset. Of the $2.5 billion that was purportedly spent on the project do you know that very little of that money touch hands or exchanged hands in the Bahamas? Ninety percent of the labor was imported from China and so was a similar amount of materials. The loan was set in China and so if and when the project gets completed and opened all the interest payments will go Back to China. So why was the Bahamian economy so lean and dried up during the years such a massive project was underway? China does not need to hurt its head about weather the project opens or is completed because most of the money it dished out is already back in that country. It is the Bahamas government that has a black eye and egg on its face. It knowingly or unknowingly caved in to China and not they have the government and Bah Mar by the male gonards. The building sits idle and incomplete and the state of the Bahamian economy is testament that the Bahamas is yet to benefit from this project. China has no motivation to release its grip on the Bahamas. If fact they may tighten the grip even more if this government does not find the gumption to cut themselves free.
