Their campaign platform was planked on believing in Bahamians and crime. Murder is 74 at the half- year mark (looking to be 150 killings this year) and now the golden calf that everyone expected to rescue the Bahamian economy has committed suicide, (or been slaughtered) despite being propped up on all sides by this government. Yet they are tightening the tax screws on local Bahamians and many local businesses are closing by the droves. No safety net or life raft has been extended to them. Maybe now they can see and feel the pains of Bahamians who voted them to office..

the saga at bah mar may be a clear message to government to re-think some of the legislation is has recently passed to penalize, add surcharges, late fees, interest and other levies to taxes and other payments due to the government from businesses that are late. unfortunately many of these fines and penalties will fall on the shoulders of small and medium businesses, many of who have been in financial crisis and struggles since 2008. The only reason they have not paid their obligations, or have not paid on time is that they do not have the money to do so. The hypocrisy of it all is that while government is reaching out to companies like Bah Mar and offering them concessions on a silver platter, (Bah Mar has yet to prove its financial worth to the Bahamian economy) this same government is tightening the screws on local businesses and making their environment even more hostile and difficult operate in. Bah Mar was able to throw a temporary veil of protection around itself by filing for bankruptcy, and while the Bahamian government seem to want to do everything in its power to not only keep Bah Mar alive, but get it off life support, this same government has pulled out an oversized pair of pliers, and is applying unbearable and pressure to the most sensitive part of businesses operated by local Bahamians, while they too, are in a desperate struggle to stay afloat and above water. These new legislation will bring the demise of many businesses. What makes government think these businesses have additional finances when it, too has financial challenges? Why such disparity? Who advised the government on this matter? Anyone with even a small understanding of economics knows that small businesses are the backbone of any economy. When you destroy them then 10 Bah Mar's cannot help. What you do unto the least of these....

Is Bah Mar too big to Fail? Was the Titanic too big to sink? What Now? Even after this government saw Bah Mar was about to crash and burn little was done for search and rescue. The Bankruptcy filings allows for Izmilan some latitude to try get the property completed and opened and the lawsuit puts even more harness (legally speaking) on the China Construction Company to complete its work or at least be exposed to liability for shoddy and uncompleted work. what happens if the property cannot emerge out of bankruptcy? The China Ban and the China Construction will still have the lions share of claim to Bah Mar and they can pay off the minority claimants and gain full control of Bah Mar. This is a dangerous scenerion for the Bahamas economically speaking.

Do not allow the Dragon to take control of Bah Mar! This is spiritual warfare.

Notice how the police and the government has remained deafeningly silent on the raids on local business this weekend, headed by a drunk police officer who shut down businesses and threatened to lock up everyone except his own mother. What kind of country are we running anyway when all the heads in government are unavailable on the weekend and the top brass on the police force disappears and leaves an intoxicated out-of-control officer to have his own way? answerable (it seems) to no one? their golden cow is in trouble, yet they persecute the middle class and working Bahamian who have a few Bahamians employed!. God is still in control, Perry! John 3:16

Perry Christie, Brave Davis, Mike Halkitas, John Rolle, Leslie Miller, Bernard Nottage, Ellison Greenslade, Keith Bell et.al, need to pack themselves on a bus (ok two buses since some ain't getting along with each other), and take a forensic tour of the areas from the foot of the hill in the North, to Nassau Street in the West and including Chippingham, to Robinson Road in the South, and Mackey Street in the East and witness first hand what is happening to many of the residents in the area and the small businesses. Many mom and pop stores and local businesses, including Blue Hill Meat Mart and Star Dust, and just about every laundry, have closed and most of the few stores that remain open have barely a can of cream and a loaf of bread on the shelves. The electricity is off in many of these shops and the owners sit in darkness with only hope in their hearts knowing, if something does not change, their demise will soon come. But guess what? the police are now in these areas checking these stores for business licenses. While most on the team seem cordial and willing to work with the owners, giving them time to get their licenses current, there is one big burly officer, who many say appear intoxicated, who is threatening to lock up these store keepers and making them shut their businesses down. Is this the caring government that said "help and hope is on the way?" Some concessions should be put in place to allow these people to get if only a conditional license so they can operate, and that 'pitbull' officer needs to be tamed.

You must now be careful of what you post. The political operatives are about the business of hacking accounts and attempting to identify posters. #smartphones are already tapped.

This is not imagination this is the one world (new world order) that is prophesied in the bible. In order to work efficiently the middle class must be eliminated. Then there will just be the elite and the worker (ants). But since there are too many (workers) one third of these along with the middle class will have to be eliminated. So why not turn them against each other and let them canabalise? The strong will survive. But they didn't factor in the coming of Christ in the equation. One percent of the population of this earth controls 50 percent of the wealth. Something must be wrong with that.
