I have nevr lived in the US so I am definitely not American. I never had an Afro so I am mos def not "Afro-American ". Do you want to take another try at the"N" word? You were pretty close last time.
There is a plan in the making to build a $5 billion mall and theme park in South Florida (Miami). This mall will be an expanded version of The Mall of the Americas, which attracts some 60 million tourists a year, 13 million more than Disney World' s 47 million. Cuba is opening up. No time to fall asleep at the tourism steering wheel, especially when millions of taxpayers dollars are at stake.
The USA has one the most robust economies in 26 years. Unemployment is below 5%, gas is at the lowest price in 10 years and the stock market's figures and shooting through the roof. Yet the Republicans are dissatisfied and siding with the president of Iran and against the president of the United States. Under normal circumstances this would be considered treason. What's wrong with this picture? answer: The president of the United States is Black! get it? got it? good!
While crime is down in the United States race relations over the past two years, even with Obama as president, is at it's tensest level in recent times. Black Americans are still the target of many police precincts and one police commissioner has recently been dismissed for devising a plan to raise funds for the city by targeting and ticketing Black citizens. A fraternity at a University was shut down for chanting a song using the "n" word and swearing to never let a Black person join the fraternity. Unfortunately we have people whe attempt to spew the same type of racial hatred in this country and try to criticize belittle everything thing Bahamian and dishonor and discredit every Bahamian, living or dead. Fortunately most Bahamians don't read the garbage they post.
African American? Racism sure has a way of revealing itself. Now we know from whence you came. Neither "African-American" or "whitey" are terms commonly used by Bahamians. So what's your agenda? To belittle Bahamians under the pretense of being a concerned citizen?
The average "joe" does not start off buying shares which is considered a high risk investment. He should start with a regular savings account. Then the next step would be to open a fixed deposit account. This should only be funds "average joe". Will not need during the term of the deposit. Then once "joe" accumulates funds he can afford to lose he can invest in the more risky stock market. The money you invest here is not protected and "joe" can lose every penny he invests if the company he buys stock in hoes belly up.
