And if you want to bring sweet hearting or having a mistress into the picture remember it was was David who was fooling around with a married woman. It was David who caused and innocent married man to lose his life so he could covert that same woman. The married man, Beshedas husband, was innocent. And when David received his punishment he cried out to God and asked for him to restore to him the joy he had before he committed the murder David was punished for his deed and lost his personal relationship with God. and members of his family also.
When you begin to justify murder then you may as well be a killer yourself! Cain, the first murderer, had (in his mind) a reason for killing his brother, Abel. And while Cain cried that the punishment meted out to him was too harsh, there was no record that he ever committed another murder. Today we have a situation where more unpunished murderers are roaming our streets than those who have been brought to justice and received punsihment. Persons who sit on the sidelines and attempt to justify each murder by claiming that the persons own actions caused his own demise, has himself in his thinking committed murder and judged as well.
unemployment in the USA is now below 5% (which is considered full employment for economic purposes). This is the lowest level of unemployment the U.S. has experienced in 26 years! It is said when the U.S. sneezes, the Bahamas catches a cold so is the government (Bahamas) banking on this country seeing full employment in six months? Sidewalks and road paving gone to bed. Is that Election fever or a sign of government's confidence ?
N OT I C E the number of prominent or more affluent Bahamian men that were killed recently. All along the law enforcement/ government was saying the murders were gang members killing other gang members, drug dealers killing each other or criminals killing other criminal who were recently released from jail or who were wearing monitering ankle bracelets. But now a number of murder victims have been upright Bahamians doing normal things that Bahamians do and now the age of murder victims seem to also have increased. Demand the government take a harsher stance against criminals. cold blooded murderers who commit or authorize assisinations especially!
From Canada, all throughout the USA and in every island in the Caribbean no other race of men is being gunned down and slaughtered like Black men. And unfortunately, unlike the U.S. where a black man is killed every 12 hours by a usually white cop, it is Black men killing black men in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. This is not coincidental.
Okay we are not in a war zone. We just live in a place where at least 100 persons are being gunned down every year. The killings are no longer done under the darkness of night but in the brightest of the daylight sun. Some families have had as many of 4 members killed, asissination style, in as many years and up to 10 members if you include extended society. This is not a war zone, just a bloody place to live.
I will disagree with you completely. While most visitors are more safe in the Bahamas than Bahamians, it is because they have received advisories alerting them about the crime situations in New Providence and Grand Bahama. Most follow the advice and do not leave the s designated "safe tourist zones" and so yes they are safe. On the other hand at least fifty percent of Bahamians have been affected by violent crime, including robbery, rape or murder over the past 10 years. Many have had to attend funerals of loved ones, or family gatherings for persons who have been robbed or raped or otherwise harmed by some crime. And yet there is the flip side. Drive pass the prison during visiting hours and see the hundreds gathered to visit family members gathered to visit family members and loved ones. Or go to the courts and see the numerous family members of murdered victims just hoping for justice so they can bring closure. Then there are family members, mothers especially, of accused persons who are not as concerned about weather the person is innocent or guilty but with just "hoping things work out for him and he be all right." And yet there are families of criminals and persons who who have committed crime who live in constant fear of retaliation. Retaliation that can cause them to be harmed or even cost them their lives. Many have had to move out of the homestead for their own safety, while others cannot go to certain places or go in certain areas. And the families of murdered victims whose killer has never been identified or they do not know the motive for the killing live with an even greater fear : the fear of the unknown. When assassins can trek through the streets under the blazing high noon sun with assault weapons and gun down victims, that is a war zone.

If mudda was 100% correct there would be no "more" to bring to da storey. Racism and bigotry is alive and well in the Bahamas!
