This man is already threatening businesses, many of whom are considering closing down before the implementation of VAT. Rather than taking such harsh and hostile posture against these businesses that are to become mandatory and unpaid revenue collection agents for the government, John Rolle should try convincing his bosses to give incentives to early registrants. Laptops, PC's, and VAT compliant software are some suggestions. Despite his threats, John Rolle can do nothing to force companies to register until the deadline passes so his tough talk is just air.

Based on current fuel prices BEC is collecting three times the revenue for the electricty it supplies. Oil prices are now at $77 a barrel and so the fuel surchage should be close to zero. Yet BEC is adding more surcharge than when oil was above $120 a barrel. This company needs to be audited and our money refunded

what leslie miller is not telling you is that you have been paying three times what your light bill should be, for the past six months! The fuel surcharge was added on to your bill when oil prices started to climb over $76.00. a barrel several years ago. So now that oil prices are back down to $77.00 a barrel the fuel charge should be less than a penny per kilo watt and should be less than $10.00 on the average homeowner's bill. But examine your bill! The fuel surcxharge is two thirds of your bill. Your TRUE bill should be only the top portion the total charges. meaning a $600.00 electricity bill should be just over $200.00. BEC is collecting three times what is due to it from its consumers and yet Leslie MIller claims the company is broke. **The fuel surcharge is more now, when fuel is at $77.00, than it was when oil was at $120.00 a barrel**. Auditors need to be called in and everything examined from the fuel supplier to every single consumer bill and meter in the country. WE are paying for three times the electricity we are consuming and this worthless gov'ment still pushing VAT on us!

On BEC bills won't show 25% oil price decline

What y'all fail to realize is this guy is only 18! FIVE years ago he was thirteen years old and the crime rate (murders included) was about the same. TEN years ago when he was 8 years old we were facing the same crime problem. The main difference is criminals are becoming more violent and more daring in their activities The point is that we know the people killed 5 yars ago are still dead and so are those who were murdered ten years ago. But the murderers today are a different set of 18, 19, 20 ,21 year olds. The point is they are a product of a society that continues to create them. And as long as things remain the same in 5 years there will be another set of 18, 19 , 20 and 21 year olds committing crime and murder and ten years after that yet still a different group. The point is the system is broken and until it is fixed the problem will remain the same.

twilight zone hypothesis? So only you , the self proclaimed Ebola expert, are allowed to draw conclusions from what you read. By trying to discredit or contradict what I said you are pointing to two clear and undisputable facts: (1) The contraction rate among non Africans is much lower than among Africans as there are only 5 known cases during the recent reports. And the survival rate among non-Africans is much higher ***100 percent*** in the USA. Did the patient in Spain die or did he survive? The major mode of attack has changed from a blood attack to one in the intestines that causes severe diarreah. The survival rate difference between older and younger patients of infections but has nothing to do with the number of infections but with the strength of the body's immune system., according to what I read. And strangely enough the station that was compiling this data in New Guinea has been destroyed by fire. They claim it was contaminated with Ebola and, according to the report, most of the data was destroyed. (no comment).

This is scary. So was the hive removed. What happens if it is disturbed again and no one is around to witness an attack? The old saying is that if a bee attacks you and you kill it, then more and more bees from the hive will attack.

The fact is that many homes don't have land line phones anymore. And many cell phones do not dial 919, maybe because they are preprogrammed to dial 911. Maybe BT needs to look into this.

So when was the DPM's body guard shot?

John says...

Is this then to say that the police must cease and desist the practice of smashing down and breaking through the front door of someone's residence under the dark of night? There has been at least several reports of this in this media this year, where the police have smashed into homes and not only refused to identify themselves but harassed and manhandled (or woman handled ) persons who were not their persons of interest, but were regular occupants of the residences targeted.

Obviously you have the one trying to mislead. I said it is strange that they have a cure for Ebola in white folks that does not work on black people. You said that it was because the fluids used to make the serum was taken from a white man. Now you say the serum used to cure the Dr, was taken from a black African boy. I said it is strange that Africans (black) have been battling with Ebola for 17 years and there is no cure for them but the white patients get cured. You deduced from that that said it was an attempt to wipe out the black race. The fact is that even if a white person gets the virus and is denied treatment they too will die. I indicated that doctors who are working in West Africa are saying the disease has become more deadly in the past 7 months and the mortality rate has increased from 55% to 74%. Unlike what you posted about early treatment and controlling body fluids, their information is that the two man factors in surviving the (new strain) of the disease is age (74 % of patients under 21 survive compared to 54% of those over 45) and that the virus has change from attacking the blood to an intestinal one (where diarreah is the major concern). Most people fid it unusual that the US has a patent to the virus since 2007, and like me are wondering what their intentions are. So yes I am concerned if the treatment and/or development of a cure tends to be partial. That is far from fear mongering. Shanty towns exist because of poverty. So you can eliminate the shanty towns by doing something about poverty. If you eliminate them by simply destroying them as is currently being done the problem of homeless poor will manifest itself. Some US cities are passing law to jail homeless people. And all are not black.
