**"Aliv's financial performance to-date was "broadly in line with expectations" .**...Ok so go ahead and sell the government 51.75 .shares in Aliv Holding co to members of the public with an IPO. Change the the former administration plans from just selling those shares to pension funds, Mutual funds, credit unions and institutional investors. Share the wealth with the ordinary fellas and retail investors..70 million from the sale could pay off some gov depth ! Including the public would truly be the broadest possible spectrum of Bahamian ownership. As it stands now the proposed offering discriminates aganist the Bahamian investing public....Fix it !

Yellow shirt supporters can howl at the moon all they want.Nothing in terms of promotion will take place for the next few years. Suck up the reality of your situation, sit small, try to send much more criminals to jail and make sure they dont get no bail.

I think its North Korea .....they will be neutralized and they will not be able to fire a single missile. Nothing with electronics circuits will be able to function the during the conflict so their missiles will be useless sitting ducks ...That will teach Iran a lesson and they will accept whatever changes congress wants with the iran nuclear deal......go Trump ! .

We have a 60/40 chance of beating the death spiral odds with the Red shirts in power the austerity measures will continue..Lets just hope that we dont have another very active hurricane season for a few years. Get the Ginn Sur Mer project going in west end. Open all of Baha Mar on schedule and fill the rooms. work on the ease of doing business in this country and lower the cost of electricity. If the USA passes its Tax Relief bill, american citizens should have more cash for traveling and a few companies may decide to invest here resulting with increased FDI investments in this country in the next few years.

@ Bogart **"Apart from the view of one wealthy and shrewd buyer or sellers of foreclosed homes there should be the view of the poor helpless and downtrodden".** I could not agree with you more .All of your stated facts on behalf of the poor and the need for Fairness and Justice is spot on !

The realities of the helpless and downtroddeen have been caused by the likes of Sir snake and the predatory lending practices of the commercial banks. Sir snake is only complaining about the home owners protection act now because in this economy his real estate business is down. Too many Bahamians are simply maxed out with more the 90% of salaries going to salary deductions in some cases. so the over 4000 mortgage accounts in default should surprise no one because we are not a discipline people.i totally agree .... "fairness and justice is needed for the majority poor and average at all times"

So why dont we make things right by finding, passing and implementing the correct legislation to to make things work between the Banking system and the web shops industry. How does the two systems function in places like las Vegas and Macau and other gameing cities around the world with large web shop industries. We can bring in consultants from those places to advise the government on what needs to be done, weather is stiffer KYC rules, More use of technology, training of Bahamians in specialized areas, implementing the latest proceedures and policy in use around the world,..Bahamians just love gambling too much,...something for nothing.... so the local Web Shops are not going anywhere. Even the gran ma's are now sitting in their bed rooms spinning all day. . We can satisfy the imf ..cfatf and all other international agencies if we get the right experts in here and fix the issues and set up a marriage made in heaven between the web shops and the financial service industry. I am sure the web shop bosses wont mind footing the bill....The answers to these issues exist in some of the Gambling cities in asia and north america ... Both sectors are all about profit and i just think that one sector is now jealous because the other sector is making more profits much easier than the traditional banking way of doing things, so they are using their clout and influences in all these international agencies and organizations to try and maintain their profits by attacking the new web shop money guys on the block

Ok Great .....Do that for the next 11 months and that would be 9 times 12 = 108 million in savings ...Great start, something the PLP would never have dreamed of doing because they stuck in the nineteenth century ..Old dinosaurs from the past with a Borrow Borrow Borrow mentality. Thank god for the May 10th results !
