This is not a priority. What is the FNM trying to do? Make it even harder on themselves at elections? The majority does not want her as leader of the FNM let alone country. Is she full of herself because she is a deputy? I even thought that alone was a mistake. H.M is partially incompetent but is slowly proving himself in the position he has so far. Loretta is just setting herself up for early retirement. The people aint going to like this.
This man wants to be heard and seen. Funny how every one who is against marijuana, never tried it or fully learned about it. Studies are continually disproving the fallacy that marijuana is bad for you. Anyone with a brain and common sense would research the drug before they come out and make press releases. When you ask persons why they are against it, they could never give a solid factual reason, instead they just knock the issue with some stereotypical view. Everyone knows that the problem with marijuana is and always has been 'political' nothing to do with health. Of course too much of anything is not good for anyone. Everything in moderation.
FOIA will expose many of the dirty dealings and incompetency's of the PLP. They were trying to jam VAT down our throats, without sufficient information, education and outreach to the people who will ultimately be taxed on top of double priced products and services. Now that their highly anticipated New Zealand committee 'identified' a lot of what the public was calling for in the first place, they are now up 'shxt' creek trying to find away to blindside the people again. It was the government that was responsible for paying political salaries first without deductions for 'spending' on what the country really needed that resulted in them to take out hefty loans, accept bribes and pay offs from crime syndicates, put foreigners first before the people etc. PLP you can fool some of the people some of the time but NOT All of the people All of the time. The PLP's time in government is slowly but surely coming to an end.
The Government is not going to admit or own up to their own incompetence. The government is not going to allow one rate and no exemptions. We are already paying double the original retail price on products and to no pay a tax on top of that is going to hurt many Bahamians. They simply believe that because they are government, we should do as they say without asking questions, and based on all questions we have yet to receive answers. When last has Christie spoken to the public about all of these issues? Christie is hiding in the back somewhere.
This is not going to change anything. They cannot arrest people and charge them for things like this. It is not even a crime, just freedom of information and transparency and the free will of the people. Mr. Rolle is just frustrated that he and the rest of his 'entourage' are under pressure. Their lazy backsides cannot lie about the types of crimes committed anymore because people have proof through social media. If we leave it up to the RBPF, Bahamians wont be allowed to do anything at all.
Not all off-duty officers are armed though. Imagine if the officer were not armed, the remaining bullets in the gun could have be used to close the loose end (the officer and his friend).
I thought 10,000 was the standard suspicion amount in cash. This is simply discrimination at its finest. The DEU cannot prove that this was the result of drug proceeds unless the tribune is missing some key details about this. I dont care if these men have a history of drugs, if they are allowed to travel then that speaks for itself. There was no law being broken, just a coincidence that there are 2 men travelling to jamaica with an excess of 5000.
Police are Reactive, if they were Proactive it would result in a police state. Crime cannot be stopped as long as their are humans occupying this planet. Sin is simply in our nature and although it can be curved, it cannot be controlled.
