Lets agree to disagree. No matter how many years or centuries. There is no excuse for what the white man did to the black man. Lets not forget they used black baby's as crocodile bait!
All in all, homosexuals are free. They are not enslaved. If they want to marry, dont marry in a church or before God the Almighty but before Baalzebub. You also cannot imply that everyone who intentionally does wrong will be forgiven everytime they ask for forgiveness, Nothing is new under the sun, At the end of the day we are all setting our selves up for destruction.
The PLP is on its last straw. The FNM is currently crumbling beneath Mold infested Mackey Headquarters, and that is why they rather send emails to each other instead of actually meeting face-to-face in their dusty cracked pleather conference room. Who's hand will the mace be in for 2017? Im afraid the Comrades are soon to disperse. Also did you not notice PGC's hint at his last term during the Election Campaign when offering to build a PM's residence for humbled FNM leader Minnis or whoever qualifies?
All of these crony higher ups in the PLP will never discredit PGC. Even when his mistakes are blatantly obvious to the dumbest of the dumb. They still make excuses for his actions. For sure this is the last term for the PLP, hopefully for many years to come. We need some fresh, new, young meat in Parliament. These cronies are simply sticking to their own lazy agendas from the time they first entered politics, and we all know their main goal is to secure a healthy retirement in 'paradise' by gobbling up as much cookies as they can, making even the cookie monster look bad, before their exit. Who knows if they even have an agenda because we are definitely not seeing what we were promised. I hope this is the last lap for traditional Bahamians to see that the PLP is not the answer. We got independence yes, but that was due to Pindling on behalf of the PLP, but what else have we really gained as a country from this Party other than Urban Renewal?
Federal law is still not allowing Colorado and other 'state' legal institutions to deposit money into financial institutions despite the rise in revenue. The problem is when governments try to address every situation, their own laws fall prey to other laws that existed before. There are simply some things that cant be controlled, such as marijuana growth and cultivation. How many times have they busted fields in Freeport etc and still every year more fields are busted again, sounds like a big waste of money to me. This will not deter anyone or make them scared. Its a plant and for every one uprooted, another will be back there again same time 4-6 months from now. The excuse that this drug is bad and just like every other drug has been proven time and time again false. Its simply a government trick that everybody eventually found out. Too bad our outdated laws and politicians are too blind raping the Bahamas to see this. The government is simply scared of the USA and they cannot go against them because some fool signed one of their treaties, that gives them exclusive rights to our airspace and responsibility for drug interdiction in both the Bahamas and Latin America. So even if we try to make room for this, America will see this as a threat and violation to our partnerships with them, and they will probably find some way to 'sanction' us just like they unfairly did Russia. America is not the answer to everything and fortunately time is proving this to be true. I just hope in the next 5 years or so, a new breed of government will be around as well as some new and improved viewpoints and laws.
