He is right they 'turn up' everday, especially when your squads that go out and harass the public actually stops to the bar to stock up for the patrol. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. Police in fatigues with guns etc, going in liquor stores buying up bottles, cups and ice in groups and go back to their lil 'buses' to continue to harass others.
DEA is a 'federal' law enforcement agency. Marijuana is still considered illegal to them. However, how does their Federal law affect our Country? It affects our country because of the promised 'support' from the U.S. through international treaties. Technically, America owns the Gulf & Waters surrounding the pan handle, and most, if not all the caribbean/west indian water passages connecting with South America and their North American Allies in that region.
First of all, they should have never let Potters Cay turn into what it is. That whole area should have just been a fisherman, mail boat docking area. The late night activities etc are contributing to the danger of this area for both Tourists & Bahamians.
Thats all, Comrade Tal worrying about the wrong thing, you did your part, let the 'Preacherman' be held accountable for what he did with the money on behalf of God. Im sure he'll get judged 50x times harder.
Rebuilding those Facilities before Expanding and/or Relocating Her Majesty's Prison will be a complete shame and waste of the country's money. This is more proof that they are more concerned about their personal comfort rather the comfort of overall Bahamians.
