PGC could never admit to his own mistake, instead he keeps finding ways to justify what he did. He knows what he did was wrong, and if this Lightbourne guy was 'significantly' underpaid, it was because of you, and you chose to pay the foreign consultants more than this Bahamian. If he is a tax delinquent and not doing well, why is he a VAT coordinator and working for the Ministry of Finance? Im sure he is no receptionist or personal assistant in that ministry, and the last time I checked a lot of the personnel in that Ministry has some credible good paying position. So if you ask me, I think Lightbourne was simply ignoring his taxes since there is no real time working collection and he therefore chose to not handle his priorities appropriately. I dont think it was because of what he was being paid, because one thing I know, when you in a ministry like Finance, the last thing you will complain about is money.
I hope they also tell them not to buy prescription drugs recommended by doctors as well because they have more side effects than actual benefits. So having this campaign and using marijuana legalization as an example is bullshxt and a political contradiction. I dont care how many campaigns you have, when it comes to marijuana, it is a plant, if somebody wants to smoke it, they will find some way, and you cannot stop them.
You need to educate yourself. You are probably the one that never used marijuana, yet you rant all the fallacies about it. Dont knock something that you yourself have never tried. Marijuana is a political problem, and you sir have taken the bait.
I only made clear the reason as to why they are here. I am not saying that they are not hypocrites, but at the same time, all those states you see that are legalized still cannot deposit money into a financial institution because 'federal' law prohibits it. Also, the DEA can raid any one of those institutions at any given time. You see all the glitz and glamour about it, but you really dont see the 'stress' the DEA puts on those institutions.
He is right they 'turn up' everday, especially when your squads that go out and harass the public actually stops to the bar to stock up for the patrol. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. Police in fatigues with guns etc, going in liquor stores buying up bottles, cups and ice in groups and go back to their lil 'buses' to continue to harass others.
DEA is a 'federal' law enforcement agency. Marijuana is still considered illegal to them. However, how does their Federal law affect our Country? It affects our country because of the promised 'support' from the U.S. through international treaties. Technically, America owns the Gulf & Waters surrounding the pan handle, and most, if not all the caribbean/west indian water passages connecting with South America and their North American Allies in that region.
First of all, they should have never let Potters Cay turn into what it is. That whole area should have just been a fisherman, mail boat docking area. The late night activities etc are contributing to the danger of this area for both Tourists & Bahamians.
Thats all, Comrade Tal worrying about the wrong thing, you did your part, let the 'Preacherman' be held accountable for what he did with the money on behalf of God. Im sure he'll get judged 50x times harder.
