I dont trust that Osbourne woman. She operates like the gestapo with her narcissistic & vindictive ways. Ask anyone that works with or around her and you will know for sure how she operates. I smell that these terminations are based on her selections & nothing random.
The generators are breaking down because there are not enough, they are old & poorly maintained. We are living with out dated electrical generating technologies that each government party fails to address time and time again. Simply slapping on a new logo does not get rid of its current problems that continue to manifest withing the company. Poor salaries & harsh working conditions also contribute to the lack of interest & dedication to the maintenance & repair of these machines but you would think with the FAT timely salaries of these executives who never broke a sweat in their lives that the company must do better. Everyone is working with a 'if it aint broke dont fix it' mentality especially when these machines are working beyond their limits and as a result affecting a mass who depend on electricity & still have to pay its exorbitant prices to keep it on.
If you really want to get rid of the working class. Drug test everyone & terminate them, then you will see that there would simply not be enough people to man the many of the positions needed. The country will of course need foreign workers then. The caribbean has marijuana in its culture whether persons like it or not. Its just that proven truths about marijuana persons do not want to accept. They should randomly drug test these heads of organizations for marijuana & every weekend for how much cocaine lies within their systems so we can terminate and stop paying them their exaggerated salaries, and as a result the country will just be doomed then. I wouldnt even touch on the blood alcohol volume percentages. Our country and its offices will be dry bones by then.
Again with these small charter aircraft. More lives lost because of greedy pilots flying like Storm chasers. Im sure the conditions were enough to cancel the flight yet they still proceed. smh
I would assume that upon receiving this final report he would make the necessary decisions as it relates to the person's involved. Give the man a chance to at least have some substantial credible evidence before he can start issuing terminations.
Interesting, a new age is upon us. The Senate has been a bit boring as it relates to its position in this government for many years now I think. Even though bills were debated most if not all of the time they are passed with no real deliberation/oppostion. Hopefully this appointment means that there will be more of a 'people' focus within the Senate. From Moncur's appointment I was a bit confused but not surprised. There is a new political climate taking place in our Bahamaland.
It better be retirement & exit from public life. Enjoy what years you have left away from this life, spend the much missed time from your family with them, this time without the 'office' to keep you away from them. Go enjoy life before the Auditor gets to work.
Fred, I could see if you won your seat. You just sound like a cry baby, you don't even have a place in an official opposition. The old regime is finished. Go back to Life as usual 'without' the politics. Do you even have a life or was politics one that the 'people' took away from you? You're going to miss that egg in the foreign affairs chair that you tried to keep so warm. Its the peoples time! The people are tired of this old regime & their ludicrous keep the people dumb tactics. New day & age.
It amazes me that after approximately three years of complaints, right before they Vote, they get what they were asking for. Both the government & commissioner gave them every excuse as to why they will not receive O.T and talked about how there was not enough money to pay officers & promote them but all of a sudden since election is now in season, they get what they were asking for? O.T being paid on the 29th? Do the officers & PSA really believe that? A ploy & if the PLP does win, it would not surprise me at ALL if they give them another excuse on the '29th' as to why they still will not receive O.T/back pay. VAT % will of course without a doubt go UP, Up, Up and these politicians will never take pay cuts to facilitate this, the poor will just get poorer. Yet no raises for Teachers even mentioned?
Fook the Festival! Stop the partying time to get serious! Get this debt under control, get the GDP to deficit percentile lower and within reasonable range, then we ALL could start to think about festivals and partying. Im tired of this government. Priorities MIX right up, Ancient, out dated initiatives and thinking is what has Pindling doing somersaults in his grave. Dated MP's its time to retire and enjoy life. Leave the Politics to those much younger and deserving.
