The Flamingo Air history is/was a shocking road map leading up to the fatal flight. In my opinion, it is past time for the business to be forcibly shutdown for many apparent safety issues.
"Research by Harvard University has long found that 90% of Chinese people are satisfied with their government". I believe this statistic. I also believe that in the Peoples Republic of China speaking out against the Government will cause you and your family to be detained.
Pathetic. Failed leadership all the way around. Basic reliable electrical energy is simply a staple of modern society. Once again, we are left to provide for families and ourselves, dependent on our home generator systems to make up for the deficient BPL supply. Bahamians deserve better.
Laughable. The US investigation will maintain confidentiality in order to "twist arms" and secure plea deals and testimony. It should come as no surprise that some people in Bahama land are nervous.
Unfortunately, the trend and past history suggest that MP Thompson will be right. BPL and the government leadership have failed to secure reliable basic modern services for Bahamian citizens. We demand and expect better. Yet, over and over again we experience interruptions to the energy supply. Depending on my whole house generator should not be a routine backup plan. The citizens suffer while the PLP twiddle. Pathetic.
