The United Nations will probably create a new one billion dollar Haitian housing fund, just for the Bahamas. If you are a Haitian, and in the Bahamas, come and get ya $50,000 to build ya house. That's enough to build 20,000 homes for Haitian families. Since each "family" consists of at least 20 persons in one home - then that is 400,000 Haitian persons - enough to dwarf the population of Bahamians. Clearly more Haitians will have to be imported to provide that number, so the UN will likely call for the lifting of the travel ban also (as if anyone pays any attention to that.) Now may be a good time to simply sacrifice Abaco to Haitians. Move all Haitians in the Bahamas to Abaco, and assist Bahamians in Abaco will relocation efforts to Eleuthera, Andros, or wherever they choose (except Nassau). They can move to Nassau, but at their own expense. The U.N. is in the process of destroying ALL cultures world wide. The Bahamas is just one of many. Others actively being destroyed are France (like #1), Spain, UK, and Canada. There is also the ongoing daylight murder of whites in South Africa which is simply being ignored by the entire world, including Australia and New Zealand which both refused refugee status to them.
So in other words, they have absolutely no information on what is going on in Haiti - not even the number of deaths. Even without testing equipment to see if persons died "with" Covid, you should at least be able to say if the number of persons who died from Jan 1st to May 31st is significantly greater than that same time period last year.
Some people (like you) find the foolest things to talk about. His hair has no effect on the price of a gallon of milk, or your rent. This is why we always end up with a bunch of donkeys in that House. Some chicken and beer and they get in. Never enough chicken and beer to last 5 years though - but people don't care. The education level is pathetic. If the next prime minister of this country is either an FNM or PLP, I think a LOT of Bahamians are going to head to the Mexican border and learn how to say "Yo no hablo Ingles".
Trump would be a good to run again. He would not win. He did not do enough against China while in power and did not do enough to strengthen the Constitution and freedoms - as has been demonstrated by how quickly the entire USA turned into a police state in March of 2020.
He should step aside and let Ron Desantis take the lead, and he should be quiet and not comment when/if Tulsi Gabbard decides to come over to the Republican side and be Ron's running mate. I would also like to see Kristi Noem (S.D.) as chief of staff. Is it possible we could be blessed with such a dream team? Yes, it is possible - but not likely. We know who controls the media, who "owns" the Internet - and they would never allow it.
Can we just amend the Constitution to say that the Speaker of the House shall not be permitted a toilet in his office? Then there would be no debate on the issue.
Disagreed. He does not want more power, but only for Parliament to have the power it is supposed to have. It starts by having a toilet, which so far the PM has not seen fit to provide. It ends with an independent budget just like every govt dept has.
People seem to get worried and concerned whenever there is disagreement and discussion. If you want everyone to be quiet and follow along then we should return to the monarchy system. In that case, whatever King Minnis says goes and it does no good to even try to speak up. If that is the system people prefer, then they should have it. Let's make the people happy. Long live the King !!!
Have to disagree. We need 100 seats here and the usa needs 2000. The money for salaries is a joke compared to the lost opportunities and swindling that takes place with just a few persons steering the ship. Here and usa are practical dictatorships. You try to get a meeting with a US Rep. No chance. The small man votes then gets blotted out. Same as here.
