I like the word "preaches" here. Science has indeed turned into a religion over the past year.

The desired level might quickly drop if that rule were put in place.

Disagreed. He does not want more power, but only for Parliament to have the power it is supposed to have. It starts by having a toilet, which so far the PM has not seen fit to provide. It ends with an independent budget just like every govt dept has.

People seem to get worried and concerned whenever there is disagreement and discussion. If you want everyone to be quiet and follow along then we should return to the monarchy system. In that case, whatever King Minnis says goes and it does no good to even try to speak up.
If that is the system people prefer, then they should have it. Let's make the people happy.
Long live the King !!!

Have to disagree. We need 100 seats here and the usa needs 2000. The money for salaries is a joke compared to the lost opportunities and swindling that takes place with just a few persons steering the ship.
Here and usa are practical dictatorships. You try to get a meeting with a US Rep. No chance.
The small man votes then gets blotted out. Same as here.

Bahamians have to pay to support the raising of Haitian babies. We can have 1, they can have 7. It's the old normal and the new normal.

We dont know what happened to the VAT money because Brave Davis will not call a meeting of the PAC Committee. He will still get plenty votes in the next election though. Bahamians actually love paying VAT. It makes them feel important.

The same way the vaccine companies conduct their own "studies" for safety / trials - and the CDC just reads the reports and says "OK". LOL. Can I do the safety inspection for my vehicle this year when I go to get the car licensed? Can I just do it myself ? My car is in perfect order. Yep. That tail light you see not working - it's actually working. I say so.

Lockdowns are real. Forced mask wearing is real. Employers demanding employees get vaccinated are real. Employers demanding employees either get vaccinated or get tests (which ain't free) every week are real. Requirements for tests to travel off of one's island are real. Brand new chemical injections less than one year old - about to be required for our children to attend school in September (with unknown lifetime consequences) are real.
Did I miss something?

"This isn’t over – but it could be. Take a look over at the United Kingdom, where there are predictions that by August the country could be declared virus-free."

lol lol lol lol

August ????????????? You are too funny. The can keeps getting kicked down the road, and people keep following it. It's like Lucy pulling the ball from Charlie Brown. You wait and see what happens ... August - OMG - you don't even know how funny that is. New rules are supposed be handed down globally before June 21st. Then you will see what is really going on.

You do know that Mr. Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR test conveniently died on August 7th, 2019 - right ? Look it up.

So we were for a long time talking about "herd immunity" - now I see you using a new term "virus free" - where did that come from? Have the goal posts been moved yet again? Herd immunity does not mean virus free. It just means the virus has a much much harder time to spread because the number of unvaccinated people make it harder for it to find another host to "jump" to. So now instead of getting to that number which saves society - we are now striving toward 100% vaccinated? Surprise surprise. Exactly what the "conspiracy theorists" predicted since last year. 100% forced vaccination. People will be strapped down and sedated and vaccinated ? Oh, for the good of the community - I forgot - my bad.

I'm trying to guess the name of the supermarket. I can hear the Jeopardy music in my mind, envisioning the clock ticking down .... but .... but ... nope ... nothing. I'm drawing a blank.
