Please don't encourage Bahamians to "not vote at all". Our system does not recognize low turnout. If only 10 people vote in a constituency and someone gets 4, someone gets 3, someone gets 2, and someone get 1 vote - then the candidate who got 4 votes wins that seat. Yes, there is a serious issue with low income housing - because every "house" that pops up is occupied by a Haitian. Remember there are 12 million of them down there just waiting for the next boat to come up. Maybe we should impose a $100/gallon gasoline tax (yes one hundred dollars per gallons) to help to pay for the additional costs of housing and health and schooling etc for Haitians in this country.
