The tools mentioned by PAHO are not "the only tools" available. They are the only tools that doctors are allowed to recommend.

Doctors are on a more serious lockdown than we are. Im certain that the plan to initially vaccinate doctors and nursee first was meant to kill them off so we had nobody to guide us. Luckily, doctors are smart and took the illegal medicines to save themselves.

Fauci thinks he is the only doctor in the world.

These people don't seem to realize that 4 years has already passed. Bahamians ain't gonna be fooled by no last minute gimmicks. And on Brave's side, he just can't seem to call a meeting of the PAC Committee in all that time either, prompting the resignation from that august body of MP Reece Chipman - a bright young leader of the caliber that we claimed we wanted to lead - insomuch as he was able to get the seat from Christie.
Oh, but let him actually make ONE step to try and do something right - he get shut right up. My brother voting for Chipman and I voting for Weatherford. New intelligent people to actually do something this go-round, instead of the age-old practice of seat warming.

So now it's time to give back our blind trust to the PLP, and hope they got new glasses to steer the boat. But, as far as I know, they still appointing a Captain from the same crew that was on board when they ran up on the rocks. Oh well. Nothing changes. Prepare for Minnis or Davis as PM. Bahamians' vision is very limited. I voting for Weatherford.

JokeyJack says...

You are correct - unfortunately Bahamians (by majority) do not care about what happens to them in the next five years - when it comes to deciding who to vote for, they go by who came to their door, shook their hand, gave them money or a turkey or some valuable item right now. So basically they are voting for people who have succeeded in the current climate. Why would they think those people would want to change the climate? So they get their turkey, cook it up, enjoy it, vote for the guy who had money (a lawyer or doctor usually, or someone else who can gain the system of business as it is in this country) and then spend the next 5 years suffering just as they did the previous five years, Now I am hearing that Bahamians are planning to spend the next five years suffering the same way they did for the years 2012-2017. I suppose in 2027 they will choose to spend 2027-2032 the same way they did the previous 4 years (2017 to 2020).
You simply cannot help shortsighted people like that. They are doomed to repeating a cycle of failure. Will they vote for an independent candidate who has a good heart, is a fighter, and wishes to make the country better? Of course not.

JokeyJack says...

They plan on using the same tactics the Democrats used. Social distance was implemented up to 50 feet during the counts. The "observers" could not observe anything. Minnis will win in a landslide.

JokeyJack says...

Minnis may be the "Most Honourable" - but he better not try go up against the ONLY doctor on the planet Earth who understand viruses - the all knowing, all wise, super genius Wile E Coyote known as Fauci.

People know very well, that "If you can't question it, then it's not science." Science is about learning new things and that is done by questioning, making assertions and then testing those ideas in a lab or otherwise.

People know that governments around the world have made HCQ and Ivermectin either illegal or very very hard to get. Prices have skyrocketed now in countries where it is available. Then they say there are "no studies" to support their efficacy. That reminds me of the age old song from the health people in the USA over the decades saying "There are no studies to support (insert whatever) is improved by consumption of marijuana." Of course, no lab could produce a study because they would be arrested for being in possession of an illegal substance. So of course there are no studies, if you are not allowed to study it.

People know these things. Yet, governments continue to think people are VERY stupid. You have to wonder what late night phone calls (and from whom) these leaders have received? You have to wonder whether CEO's of businesses and others are going to start getting those calls (assuming there are any calls), and what is said on those calls. I remember when Ross Perot dropped out of the 1992 Presidential race and the reason he gave for doing that. Of course he might have just been a big fat liar right? Oh yeah. A billionaire turned moron, as described in the media.

JokeyJack says...

Get the job done? What job? What do you think they've been doing all this time? Man stop talking nonsense - they don't do nothing on a good day. It doesn't matter if in session or not.

We are not rules by Law right now anyway - we are under Emergency Power. Minnis can overrule any law passed or that has already been in effect from Parliament. They are currently a bunch of nobody's in there - cause their actions can be overruled by the King.

JokeyJack says...

Absolutely correct - and even if it does open and provides a few documents they must really think people are STUPID and even need a new word for stupid cause stupid doesn't cover it.
They been in power for years, and now just because they plan to close up the House to get rid of Moutrie and call election they trying to do a few fool moves to try and trick the public with all this Bimini airport and other rubbish that wouldnt happen before May anyway.
Hurricane and Covid do not delay things like this which are simply legal instruments and procedures. They are going to lose so bad. plp got 4 seats, they gonna have 2 seats - and like Ingraham, I predict one of those 2 will resign.
Of course, if the people put the PLP in their place, then it won't make much difference - but would avoid slip into dictatorship which is our current trajectory.
