How could I forget, his flip flop on the referendum?! His vote went from being public record to being confidential! He wants to be a private citizen not the Leader of the Opposition.

Crime is steadily out of control... What is down by 29% is Dr. Nottage's grip on reality. I don't want cooked book statistics, I want results. Look at how fast the demon was found who killed Minister Cleare, allegedly Scott Richards and possibly others, not because of stellar police work, but because of CCTV. When will we get serious about crime in this country? When will we put our VAT money to work putting up cameras on every lamp post disguised as something else and have police watching the feeds? When will we utilize drone technology to get "eyes" on a crime scene before the police "arrive"? We all know that when you call the police, they wait for the man with the gun to leave before they come, they ain't trying to get kill. Just how the police got the picture of the man from the CCTV every crime could be solved within hours and we wouldn't have reasonable doubt that maybe the police just picked up someone who looked guilty and charged them with every unsolved murder on the books. These criminals are not smart, they are desperate and they don't care about going to jail. Jail is a vacation for them from their life of misery, of being unwanted and uncared for, of having no opportunity to do something constructive with their life, of being forced to fend for themselves at an early age, of being failed by our own education system. If the Save Our Bahamas movement was serious about their name they would be preaching abstinence and giving out condoms instead of playing hide and seek with the gay marriage bogeyman. The Bahamas is in the doldrums...I shudder to think about 2017 and beyond.

These Minnisites may circle their wagon and prop up their malaprop Hubert, but the fact still remains that the main person intent on destroying Minnis is minnis. i have said it before, he flails like a fish drowning in air. He has made so many missteps and gaffes that we could fill a playbook of what not to do as a political leader. I list them here for those who choose to forget: Toggie and the free "fish" courtesy call; Bringing in Rollins and Wells the new PLP faction of the FNM to prop himself up; Catching a Ride on the PM's plane with no supplies to visit the islands devastated by Hurricane Joaquin- Not even one case of water, but posing with HeadKnowles organised donations!!!! Seeming to disparage HeadKnowles and LBT by asking people to donate to NEMA instead(the people would still be waiting!!). The exhaustive laundry list goes on and on. Blame whoever you want Minnisites, but don't forget to blame Minnis and yourselves for propping up his failure. No one need attack Minnis, he has done a good enough job of that himself. "Roc wit Doc" - more like "Doc is a Rock" sinking the FNM. Signed, An Exasperated FNM

Unfortunately in our country everything to do with this referendum was political. Low turnout shows the apathy people feel towards this government. The Prime Minister of the PLP was desperate to make a legacy out of nothing. Something historic to talk about after this term is over. He got his answer today - 'hell NO' to the PLP. Let Perry Christie go write his name on every outside toilet in Farm Road, that is his legacy.

Hubert Minnis must move on from the leadership of the FNM. He may be feeling great but the rest of us are not. Hubert Minnis has been a failure as leader of the FNM. For four years we have watched him flounder and flail like a fish drowning in air. A man with his balls tied together around his back according to Bran! A man so desperate to continue as leader he would bring in PLP members to his ranks( and look how well that turned out). If the caucus does not see how unpopular this man is, they will lose many more good FNM's. He does not have what it takes and he never will, I don't care if he had 100 years to prepare. The sooner the FNM delegates smell the reality, the better for all of us...

Just a sad story from top to bottom. Praying for that 10% as they try to make something happen in the big city. Nassau and Freeport have enough people with nothing going for them...

Wake me up when it's November please...

I feel that because this is not retroactive, we have lost a whole load of possible Bahamians who could make positive contributions. It is just so sad...

Say Free-Free National Movement!!! I like it... Definitely a way to get out of being broke!

What prescription is Hubert Minnis' glasses? He must be blind if he still thinks he is the Leader of the Opposition. I support Loretta Butler-Turner as the kind of Leader the FNM needs right now. She is coherent and well spoken and I never have to wonder if English is her first language when I hear her speak. She may have her faults(we all do), but she is the best chance we have right now. She will reignite the TORCH and bring real FNM's HOME. Minnis might have those council members voting for him, but he surely must admit that the torch is now a candle flickering in his hand. Minnis, aren't you tired of reading in every paper and on every social media that the people aren't for you? Please step outside of your yes-men bubble. Minnis or nuttin'? I will take nuttin' for 100 please Alex...
