I don't see the issue, was the owner held at gun point? was the owner humiliated? If the owner is compliant, then what's the real issue?

One thing we don't like as Bahamians is enforcement boy. As soon as the government take a serious stance, we worried about appearance more than those not wanting to pay their fair share, when the small man being taxed but the big man playing stupid and gaining all the profits.

Can't offer a service if the prices aren't competitive. When prices don't make sense Bahamians isn't spending.

The problem the public eye will always have with the gas dealers is that they will never lose. No matter which way they swear the profit curve swings. Gas is essential, its not like we can use tap water to run our vehicles. While yes, I understand anyone gets into business to make money, but the flip is sometimes you have to take some cuts instead of passing you're in balance onto the consumers.

I agree, these set only mad because it won't be slackness as usual. Get a company in, lets lower cost, let's get better service, let's get state of the art infrastructure.

If it isn't raised there won't be any nib in a few years. Thats the harsh reality when cost of living is not balanced with wages you have an unbalanced scale.
