100% accurate. In bad weather doing a rushed unplanned dive, is asking for problems. The loss of life is unfortunate, but they are not being reasonable. RBDF divers could have easily gotten lost, disoriented, or drifted away from the boat, with the current. Diving at 50' in the dark requires decent conditions, and a lot of planning, from dive team, to the team on the deck.

Yup.. We are forecast to have 3.5 Meters at 12 seconds... This will equate to double to triple overhead breaking waves, in cuts and around dropoffs... No doubt there will be some experienced boater that goes out and does something stupid..

Bahamian's like to be proud about going out in rough weather. These types are typically younger with some experience, but truly haven't been out in real serious weather. It is basic common sense; Look at the water and if it is something you haven't experienced, or in a boat you are unfamiliar with don't go out. When conditions are the way they are no one is coming out to rescue you on the ocean side. Don't be trying to cross glass window bridge, or go through some ocean passage like a fool trying to be a 'hero.'

If ya'll believe this shit ass story, this guy never made it to no Andros. He has zero boating skills. He is trying to write a book or something... Anyhow plenty people spent plenty time looking for this ass, for a 2nd TIME! This guy owes a lot of people a lot for his stupid decision to single hand an old boat he had never been on, during a small craft advisory... As a matter of fact, he may be perfect for the defence force!

Of course it has been spread from Haiti.

This is the same damn reason why Shanty towns, and illegal immigrants need to be dealt with seriously. When you introduce another culture (Chinese, Haitian, etc.) What do you expect? Chinese will live 6-10 people in a 800-1000sq foot apartment. Haitians will live in the bush in 'Shanty Towns' with illegal buildings too close together, no running water, completely filthy compared to even lower-level Bahamians.

All the undeducated Bahamians ignorants will defend immigrants saying things like 'they are people too,' and when there is CDC outbreak declared in the Bahamas and your little child dies of TB don't come crying and complaining.

Illegal immigrants are destroying this country. Further if they are legal, they have to live by the laws of this damn country, NOT bring their Chinese or Haitian or whatever other country, ways in and blatantly disregard and disrespect us and our country.

Wake up!!! This is a very serious problem. Haitians are a major cause of crime, illegal activities, and disease. That is just a simple fact.

This story makes no sense... Why in the hell if you're going from Bimini to Nassau, would you go to Andros?

Why did he go in a tree and if he was actually some how on Andros, which I personally don't believe, did he go back to sea in his boat?

I am happy for his sister he is safe, but this is perhaps the most ignorant boating story I have ever heard, and makes 0% sense...
