'Rather, the matter is one of regulating it vs. enforcing the laws against it. It is the ambivalence in the executive, judicial and legislative branches of our government in dealing with this festering issue which has now exacerbated the situation...' Thanks TIM!!! -
I trust that none of these confessed criminals are allowed to participate in a legalized national lottery.
LOL - free news and great attention for our marine life and of course the cape eleuthera marina - nothing significant about the incident and the find - But I love reading about this often neglected aspect as to who we are and our 100k sq miles of marine habitat
Takitota will loose and hardly can give account to how or why he was imprisoned and what happened prior to his arrest - I doubt he tracked his case, understood his arrangement and has any idea as to what he was paid - Gomez charging 33% is a no brainer when the risk is all yours - your client doesnt read english and you can see the win - there will be better stories to come - this is a small taste
To say the money is gone is not an accusation and it should not be difficult to find out where the funds were used - Bell says 'I have the document as to how the funds were used,' unless it was used to pay someones mortgage then please explain the scandal? I am more interested in the relationship between the current Minister of State in the Attorney Generals office with a drug lord pending extradition and cant help but wonder about the conflicts that might arise from the PLP Chairman taking over the Airport while having a vested interest in Nassau Flight Services or the new Chairman of BEC owing millions to the Corporation - These are all stories that have been in the tribune - Where is the investigative journalism and commentary on these issues - These are easily verifiable facts - do better tribune!!
I cant believe they have the nerve to even threaten this as a first response - Get the meeting with the Management - Go to the Minister - If necessary the Prime Minister. Then start a protest but dont touch the light - People are frustrated with the highest energy cost in this hemisphere and sporadic service - to then threaten sabotage leaves no room for sympathy for your cause! #thinkbeforeyouact
I am not sure if I can accept the characterization of Grand Bahama - Even on a per capita basis crime levels are still relatively low - Unless my numbers are incorrect I would like to know how these categories are determined.
Sexy is not a qualification for leadership! I am disappointed that my friend would think this way and if he had the thought he should have kept it to himself....
