I believe that the CEXIM Bank is the owner of the project now, as it holds the majority equity shares. CCA also has some interest so these are the people that have to find the money to pay the people. Its like you people don't know the difference between a person and a Company. I also heard that CCA hired the Bahamian Subs, so we need to find out from the Bahamian Subs, who they agreed to work for and who / what agreed to pay them. Then they need to get a lawyer. CEXIM Bank will not be able to say it doesn't have the money to finish the hotel and if it has the money for that, it has the money for the Bahamians. They must be putting up the money for the Pointe too.

The Cruise Lines have pressed the Cayman Islands very hard to build docks so they don't have to ferry the people ashore. They ( Cayman Governmnet ) are doing it at a cost of 150 Million Dollars. American US dollars - not Chinese US dollars. We better buck up or we will have nothing left soon.

CEXIM is both a mortgagor and a venture partner. Izmirlian had to sign over his shares in the project to CEXIM if the project went belly up. Well its gone belly up so the Bank is the friggin owner now so why don't they stop playing stupid and settle the debts of the project. Tell me CEXIM has put itself in receivership ??? !!!! This is a ploy to put their Chinese peckers in the Bahamian's boongeys.

I heard Flowers is taking bets on the total at December 31st. 160+ murdered pays $1 for $5. That's only 23 more for 2 months.

On Murder total reaches 127

Unfortunately there is more opposition to The Government on this channel than anywhere else. If he really wants a safety net why did he dump 2000 Bahamian workers with only a hope and a Pinocchio Promise.

Agreed, the article is right on the money. The Government should have kept their lean backsides out of it, and tried to find out what "sovereignty" really means. Yes, Cayman is bouncing on every front, with their biggest issue being whether to invest 150 Million Dollars to build cruise ship docks in front of Georgetown. But they don't want to kill the reefs so they will be relocated by hand. They know where their bread is buttered, and how they get the jam to put on it.The more we screw up the better they fare it seems.
