The President will always find money for her trips abroad and cronies. The old school female teachers seem to ignore the smoke that has continually surrounded her.
Doctors hospital turns away anybody who cannot pay be they foreign or Bahamian, however when will Americans realize that in this day and age a passport is a necessity to travel safely.
So you want Fweddy back with all his eye watering financial trips, or more trips to China first class or more piles of curry for the never to be built hospital in Eleuthera. Yes the FNM needs to re-evaluate but to even consider voting in the last bunch of incompetent crooks defies belief.
With all due respect he has inherited a mess but the Minister is talking nonsense. You would be quicker strapping your letters to a turtle for delivery rather than this mess of a Post Office. As for shredding mail if you believe for one moment that everything shredded is undeliverable then the men in white coats need to talk to you. Fact I had an international newspaper subscription years ago. Received two and then nothing else. Newspaper company traced every delivery to Nassau Post office. Fact #2. Had a subscription to auto magazine. Never received one. So not only are P.O. employees not doing their job some are also pilfering periodicals and the like. For any business to rely on sending bills out by mail then it is the road to ruin.
I agree with the rule about dressing decently as the implication is that brief or revealing clothing is sexually suggestive. Fine but so hypocritical when we have school dances where the dancing is often vertical sex, Junkanoo which is way suggestive, as is much of the public -adult organized dancing shows put on by schools and other bodies. If you have 5- 10 year olds girating in minimal clothing at public functions how do you expect them to do better when older
But what would you replace them with ? God knows you have a short memory about PLP mismanagement, corruption, etc etc. At least the IMF has been impressed.
There are so many things wrong and no the FNM is not perfect but what is conveniently forgotten is that the PLP holding the reins of power for the longest time contributed greatly to bringing the country and its finances into disrepute. For so long it has been acceptable to dodge duties, ignore road traffic laws, turn up late for work, in fact do everything expected of a third world banana republic hat now citizens object to any changes by the people in charge.
Its amazes me how these huge sums (20 million) can be found for reports and consultations and evaluations yet there is no money for basics like fixing school roofs, maintaining the roads and so on.
