Article 7 of the Constitution must be viewed in light of The Immigration Act (1967), which, lets say is the mother. The Constitution (1973) did not do away with, or smothered Mother. The Constitution comes alongside Mother, to sustain and strengthen her. In other words, MOTHER has not been repealed. MOTHER is still alive and well. Bahamians must take time out to read and study what pertains to our good governance and well-being as a nation.
That PKM person is as ignorant as a dried piece of sheep skin. Obviously PKM, or whatever, not a Bahamian who went to school. Please listen, to learn. Its a shame that a citizen is unaware of provisions of Bahamas constitution that pertains to citizenship of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Read, PKM, read it, for your own edification.
According to Pastor Woods anyone who can't find bread or tea at home can walk into my home and help himself/herself. The Devil is a LIAR. Ask me for assistance. Then why should I assist you, when you insist on remaining in the kingdom of darkness. Pastor should know that this is spiritual warfare. The DEVIL wants to use the tactics that the rich man attempted in HELL, according to jesus christ's parable. It can't work. It is as simple as that. And like the Five Wise Virgins told the Five Foolish Virgins when the fools wanted a share of the oil from the WISE, 'go and buy for yourself'.
The children are the wards of their parents. Wherever the parents go, except on custodial sentence, etc., so go THEIR children with them. The parents are responsible, initially, for the well being of the children. What is the difficulty with this logic? Please, bahamians, make it clear and plain that the event of birth in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is not an entitlement to Bahamian citizenship. Tell the intruders, Don't confuse what other nations do with our constitution. We are a sovereign nation; we create laws and policies that govern the orderly conduct of Bahamian society. Tell them!
Confirmed! The Haitian Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is a c o w a r d! He is SO concerned for the children of Haitian nationals who are living here, uninvited, without legal documents. His concern for them should force him to cause the parents of those children to reverence the statutory laws of The Bahamas and stay at home in Haiti, notwithstanding the economic catastrophe that prevails in that country. Perhaps he has assisted in their plight. Now he wants us to take care of their millions. No, Sir, enough is enough, and WE are at that crossroads. So stop hiding your adult self behind defenseless infants and children and do the right thing. go home, to where you belong, NOW.
Where in HELL does one criminalize a criminal? Perhaps these criminals think that breaking the statutory laws of the Bahamas is a big joke. Better find yourselves back home where you belong.Come by invitation only, ma bey.
This story is a lot of hog wash. Hanna has had at least a run-in with the law. Check the official records carefully; inclusive of HM Prisons. See also deportation order from USA. Then check NIB records for history of employment, if any exists. Then also check the registry to ascertain if the defendant owns a house and if so who is the mortgagee. All of this should be verified quite easily. One does not hope that the courts accept the words of a felon willy nilly.

This is like 'comic strip'. Tell me, so how long do they intend to hide from Immigration?
