What did this debt buy us? Where did it go?

Bahamians deserve to know. It will take generations of Bahamians to pay this debt for no apparent benefit.

Imagine being born and being responsible for your parent's mortgage. For a house that was never built. What hope do you have to pay back a house that was never built and eventually afford to build your own house?

Selling away the country won't fix the problem because the same practices will continue until we have to sell again.

We have too much government. This is just one example: In Britain 1 MP represents on average 92,000 people. Based on the Bahamas population we should have 4 MPs for all of the Bahamas. We have on average 39 MPs, what are their salaries and is it worth it?

Not from our country. Our only source of information is from Canada and USA investigations. We're peasants and our leaders don't respect us.

What a joke. Our "democracy" is controlled by a corrupt elite.

This man legalized gambling, benefitting a few mobsters even though the people voted no. Sensible countries lotteries are owned by the Government and funds go towards building the country and helping the people. No one should profit off of poor people's desperation and addictions.

We need a Freedom of Information Act, not a politician choosing what to tell us.

"300,000 degree turn" What does that even mean? These politicians really don't care. Just tell us peasants spectacular and entertaining things to get voted in. Not saying anything of substance. It's disgusting.

Succession planning is a process for identifying and developing new leaders who can replace old leaders when they leave, retire or die.

People are so concerned about keeping their jobs that they fail to identify talent and train them to eventually take over their position.

How do we do that? One way would be to partner with successful organizations and create internships/apprenticeships.

Hire who is most qualified. Being a Bahamian should be a minor weighted factor in the decision. We have many examples in the Bahamas of persons being hired not because of their ability to do the the job. We end up with a bunch of nonfunctioning organizations of people collecting paychecks, complaining and doing no work.

The goal should be to develop Bahamians to be qualified person not to force underqualified Bahamians into positions just because they're Bahamian.
