For the love of Ella follow Grand Bahama's example. Each equipment has a specific lifespan. The first generation plant was nearing that so what did the company do? Build an entirely new generation plant at another site and transferred operations over to the new system. I worked there as a consultant for a few years and outside of the control shutdowns during hurricane season, I can only recall one time there was a power outage. A team did a press conference the following morning and apologized profusely and I swear gauging from the intensity on their faces I was confident 20 people were reprimanded for the deviation. BEC/BPL stews in mediocrity and poor service and it only took them 40 years to develop a communication strategy for which executives are expecting queen's honors in short order. No administration treats this as a priority and the continuous spin only drives residents to sigh and roll eyes. Build a completely new generation plant with all new equipment and upgrade the existing sites to serve as backup. Anything short of that and we will remain in this vicious cycle.

Don't text and drive. Voice note in emergencies only.
Don't apply make-up and drive. Do this at home or in the bathroom before your shift.
Don't turn around to spank the children and drive. Use the evil eye and rear view mirror.

Either her lights weren't working or she was distracted or speeding and the brakes didn't hold.

I am all for accountability but calling for the minister's resignation is a stretch. There should be a warning sign 50 feet before the concrete barricade, reflectors and neon signage on the barricade itself. I hope this has been addressed since the most unfortunate incident.

Be consistent with criticism. If we criticize the FNM administration over the controversial OBAN deal in large part due to the environmental impacts it will have, why are we afraid to support it now that it has taken this course of action to clean up the environment, enforce building codes and hold to account land owners who avoid taxes and prey on the poor. A lot of illegal immigrants hide out in these communities as well until they can assimilate into society. This initiative addresses so many issues in one fell swoop. This is the level of thinking I encourage cabinet to employ as it makes strategic decisions in the national interests. One of the tenants confessed that he knew this day would come. What was done to prepare? Little to nothing. #LongRopeHasItsEnd

We can pontificate all we want. History will define them best. They voted. The PM followed the standard protocol. Time will tell the tale. Ask yourselves, when last has a party held on to power for 2 consecutive terms? #FlipFlop

Addressing current affairs at graduations or any public event non related is a tactic used in the United States. I notice next generation politicians adopt a lot of how U.S. politicians operate. Some positive but most not becoming. The whole CEO and press secretary is another example of this.
