I built my first personal computer in 1998, [Windows 98 Pentium III 700Mhz with 256 MB RAM] this was a great achievement for me, it was expensive, the Pentium III chip alone in the U.S was $200+ then a few months later Pentium came out with the 900+ - 1Ghz chip for almost twice the price of the 700Mhz I had purchased just a few months ago! I was pissed! Today, being such a black backward Bahamian I decided to just stick with books with the great discoverer stories of Christopher Columbus and my timetables and with my Colonialist adulterated religious mind control manual.

This is dangerous!!! This is very, very, very dangerous! We trust our oppressors/enemies too much. Do you know what a private company can do with all of the country's citizens private identity and information in its database?? This is a trifling slippery slope, the benefits do not outweigh the risk. this is very dangerous!

Our DINO 'Leaders' need to stop trying to find all the different ways of trying to 'pimp' The Bahamian people, even prostitutes retire from the streets. We need to create, manufacture, grow things here in our Bahamaland that is in DEMAND around the world (foreign money) stop only banking on tourism and taxing Bahamian Citizens/Business to death! Add a little something exxxtra for those visiting our beautiful shores, stop being scared @sses. Sunshine, beautiful beaches and their cup overflowing with LOCAL rum/beer enhanced with a nice touch of LOCAL tropical grown cannabis joint, we won't need to have Bahamians sell their last favorite used underwear to pay 12% VAT and the number boys anymore. We need politicians with.... nevermind I don't want to sound sexist, because people will take it literally. We as a nation need to start thinking outside the box, for those ruining I meant running our country, whether, elected, hidden in another country or hidden behind exclusive properties in our Bahamaland, thank you for bringing us together, we will never forget. The PLP is done for the next 10+ years, FNM/UBP spawns/puppets (doctor Minnis administration) is currently looking like a one-term administration. Sounds like it's time for a REAL Bahamian people's party. I wonder what happen to that Henfield boy who was making all that waves during the last administration, someone buy him to shut him up aye? Canadians will have legal cannabis starting October 2018, Oklahoma one of the reddest states is set to legalize medicinal cannabis, what in the name of a sanity are we waiting for? Are we waiting for the IMF/IDB to wrangle us away from our current colonialist masters and render us to permanent indentured servitude for generations to come? Respectfully, many can say what they want about that black, arrogant, cock-eyed lawyer from the 70's he wasn't perfect, but he sure was no damn sheep either. Where the window is in here, get that Speaker's mase fa me... #BlackTuesday

**"There was never talk about working to properly regulate these communities, ..."**

Correct Sir. I'm sure neither was there any talk of "regulating" bank robberies.

*....Anyone who thinks Mr. Smith cares about human rights can ask why doesn't he bring lawsuits against the government for the inhumane conditions that bahamians are kept in at Fox Hill.*

--- hmmmmm!?! No additional comment needed, Mr. Smith has just been baptized by fire from TheMadHatter, I Gone!

Congratulations MCMR Boys! (Miller, Chipman, McAlpine, and Robinson) The silver lining behind this cloud is two of the other political parties in our Bahamaland needs REAL (((Electable))) leaders who CAN win on a third party ticket. Bran, swallow your pretty pride, I recommend Mr. Vaughan Miller for leader of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Let's send them a message of "We the people" and not the corrupt elite and their UBP puppets. Let's get this ball rolling now!!!! - miller For Prime Minister!-

***In response, Mr. Lloyd said come September 2019, "Once accepted to University of Bahamas, education is free."***

- - Questions: (1) After the top 4 students in economics have gotten a free UB education, job with our Government, and sent off to Ivy league college, what guarantee do we have that they will return to our Bahamaland after being propositioned by Goldman Sachs and others?.

(2) What about the rest of our population who want to better themselves by getting a higher education? We have to offer higher opportunities to all, many Bahamian families started at an early age, right out of, or some before high school graduation, now that kids are grown they want to finally get their 'edjamacation' on too, the single moms/dads, the reformed and the most vulnerable of our society everyone should be able to reap from our success! When I graduated from college there were 20, 30, 40 and 80 somethings getting their diploma. A rising tide lifts ALL boats!!

We cannot be stingy when it comes to uplifting our people our nation, especially when the people whom you're alienating from the "fat of the land" are busy working hours daily paying taxes directly or indirectly into the same pot. Great idea, however with more tax dollars paid into a transparent system we can and must do better than this! After 40 years of our anemic educational system and daily attack from globalization, we have to show our appreciation to those who carry the weight of building our Bahamaland while making peanuts. It's time to Legalize cannabis tax it, use most of the tax for our educational and spiritual systems (I did not say religious), mental health, homelessness; it's unthinkable that in this day and age people are still using outside toilets, not only in some family Islands but in the capital of the nation NASSAU! let's think outside the box when it comes to uplifting our nation and our people. Love and peace to you my brother and sisters.

poverty breathes crime. We are living in the residual of our leader/parents pass deeds and action/inactions. Sell Bahamasair, they probably have not made a profit since the 1980's; use the potential money to be wasted on Bahamasair to subsidize University of The Bahamas, along with tax from legalizing cannabis we should be able to give every interested Bahamian citizen a higher education. Think long term, this can be just a rough patch, however, keep reacting and buy more cars to fight crime is stupid. The same people who are directly benefiting financially from our Government buying more cars etc are the same elites and___________ who want to see and is orchestrating our demise. We trust our amoral, greedy enemies too much, "over-the-hill" is just the battleground, like the war in Iraq their central command is behind the gates in our Bahamaland. Lyford cay and others. Many can't run for office because of one of many reasons, so they just buy our elected leaders and our religious leaders, sadly, to them it's a game. We must educate our own people, import the best teachers and professors if we have to, this is war people, hard choices has to be made. Laugh now and cry later or cry now and laugh later.

***"He said he fully expected his party will be returned to office at the end of this term."***

- Sir, respectfully, what have your party done so far to make such bold arrogant and prophesy? Yall so new, milk still 'round yall mouth as it relates to the election day. Are you telling the Bahamian people that "No even God can stop you now" too?? Stay humble my friends, this is no time to be messing with the livelihood of Bahamians while spitting in their face.
PLP?? Web shops??? Stop the unnecessary distractions and get to work on the peoples business!!!

Gun capital? Hmmm, more like the gun importing hub of The Bahamas. Makes a lot of sense, I was thinking Abaco was the gun importing hub of The Bahamas.

PastorTroy says...

- Bahamians wanting to improve themselves should be able to receive a subsidized education compliments of cannabis, stop sending our best and brightest away, because many will not come back. In 5 years we should be financially stable enough, providing that recreational cannabis is also legalized soon that the 7.5% tax can be repealed, however, I'm not holding my breath on the latter. A portion of taxes should also go towards our LEO's to give them the tools to fight REAL criminals groups operating locally and internationally within our border peddling death, hard drugs, and illegal guns. We know why cannabis became illegal, the truth is everywhere, criminalizing our passion for financial reasons and our Government knows the truth and not saving the lives of our brothers and sisters makes us complicit. We are Bahamians dam8! where is our pride?? Are we our brothers/sisters keeper? Mr. D'Aguilar's defense for taxing the "Number Boys" a "lil" bit more because they have had a feast for a while, is the same argument I can propose to those who have shares/interest/stocks/kickbacks in Commonwealth brewery and the liquor and pharmaceutical industries, We are too small of a nation to be so predatory on our brothers and sisters when they know where your mama dem live. A rising tide lifts all boats, let us legalize cannabis, let a legal honest and vibrant cannabis industry be the tide that lifts us as a nation. Then that which our enemies had put before us and our children to destroy us, will make us rise!! They tried to bury we, but they forget we are seeds from tribes of our mothers & forefathers. I wish you, my brothers and sisters, love & PEACE.
