I understand her pain.
Whenever I have spoken out about any sordid condition in this country, the first response is to kill the messenger.
Davis, Lundy, Darville, all of them care only about themselves. This is their culture.
I'll bet the Prime Minister's office doesn't have any of the problems that our National hospital has.
It is an insult to human decency, not that PMH is in this condition, but that we have a gang of leaders who don't give a damn.
Don't care and will literally choose to shoot the messenger rather than do the right thing.
I believe that our current administration CANNOT even imagine what the right thing is.
Disgraceful!

I still am asking why, if we are truly Christian, thinking, and decent nation, do we not demand to nationalize the web shops?
What are we lacking in our ability to think straight?
When did our imaginations and our critical thinking skills die?
Is it not fair to say that we have intellectually and morally failed as a nation?

Porcupine says...

This all sounds good.
So, why don't you do this in Florida?
I think I know the reason.

Porcupine says...

Thanks for that comment.

Sometimes, one wishes that our people were literate, honest and honorable.
And, not racist would be nice too.

Porcupine says...

the problem is only in deciding who are the most corrupt.
The church or the politicians?
Nationalize the web shops for The People.
Are we really that dense?

Rich people don't have to face true justice.
Lawyers, judges, police, politicians all have a price.
And, in The Bahamas, the rich have nobody or anything at all to worry about.

Porcupine says...

And what of the dozens, if not hundreds of Nygard's victims?
One would think The Bahamas would seek justice for its people.
Do we care?
Does this administration care about anything but money for themselves?

TWO police officers have been charged and could now facing dismissal over a shocking incident in which a detained American woman was forced to defecate on a police station floor, Police Commissioner Shanta Knowles confirmed to The Tribune yesterday.

Porcupine says...

"Ms Galanos described the incident as “a complete loss of dignity” and warned that the viral footage could inflict lasting harm on the woman’s life and reputation. “That is a video that is going to be in circulation forever,” she said."
"She warned that the international fallout could be severe. “It makes our police force and our country look horrible,” she said. “If you turn people off with a video like that, they will not come.”
Perhaps not to many read the papers.
Our police force does a good job of making our country seem like a Banana Republic.
Some at the top are on leave in the US for their part in making our police force look..........
