Sorry. Both PLP and FNM are two sides of the same coin.
I call it as I see it.
Objectively, we are all on a losing team.
No vision, no honesty, no education.
Where would decent leadership come from?
Our communities?

So much truth.
A small Man, unable to confront his humanity, a sociopath by his actions and unable to act like a real man, best describes our current PM.
Sadly, he does not have the integrity, the honesty, or the humility to do what is best for the country.
Nearly every act of this current administration is a lesson on self-dealing, greed and hubris.
Davis counts on the ill-educated populace and his crooked, compromised associates to continue on his childish, selfish and greedy rampage.
Words have become a weapon, on which this PM was trained to thrive.
Continue politics as usual, and this country is finished.
There is no integrity or honesty from this PM.
It is sad that so many are so deluded, or ignorant to this man's ways.
We are on a downward spiral.
Davis and his administration are all for themselves. They have no concern for The People.
Wake up!

“I don’t care how much this happens or how widespread it is, or who gets greased and who doesn’t get greased,” Bishop Boyd said. “It is something that we need to move away from if we are going to move our countries forward.”

His remarks came as Prime Minister Philip “Brave” Davis, who attended the service with Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell, has said campaign finance reform will not happen before the next general election, despite the promise his party made in its pre-election manifesto.

“We have to acknowledge the lapses in our system, the lapses in the integrity of some of us, and the things which have caused immigrants not to have the rights that they ought to have,” he said.

I wonder if Davis and Mitchelll were listening to this man.
Or, like they behave with The People of The Bahamas, were they even listening?

And, what about using web shop money to buy an "elected" parliamentary position?
Crickets, hey?

The ability to think and have empathy are sorely lacking in our "leadership" class.

The good Bishop says, “It is wrong for money to control the outcome of an election or the future of a country,” he said during the opening of the 122nd Synod of the Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks and Caicos Islands.
I wonder who / what he could be talking about?

Who would be in political office here without dirty drug, bootlegging, or gambling money?
Not one!

I think you missed the point.
There is a reason you get jailed for bribing a police or judge.
Can't see any similarities?
We have lost much of our critical thinking abilities, haven't we?

It is rather sad that someone like Keith is helping lead us into this dystopian world order.
Digital payments are about government and bankers control of the world's people.
So much for privacy and sovereignty.
They will be able to cut off your money supply for saying the wrong thing.
It is happening already.
To push digital payments, one must have some financial incentive, or a complete lack of awareness of what it is ultimately being used for.
Digital payments are part of a plan to enslave all humanity.
A lack of reading allows the masses, including the cheerleaders for digital payments and the elimination of cash, to sleepwalk into this future.
Funny how those who embrace all this new technology are actually embracing slavery.

Hey Simon,

Excellent commentary. I agree wholeheartedly.
All concentrations of wealth and power need to be dismantled.
Simply for the good of The People.
Perhaps if enough Bahamians of good conscience would push for a complete nationalization of the web shops, as should have been done by any decent political leader, we would lessen the corrosive impacts of tainted money buying political office.
nationalize the web shops in 2026

My God. I've never read a more delusional piece of nonsense in all my years.
Mr. Walker cannot think himself out of a wet paper bag.
Come on Tom, are you really a real person, or is this an AI puff piece.
The US is in crisis mode. They are on the way out.
You really want to hitch your horse to this chaos?

Proper spelling and good English counts for nothing in birdbrains intellectual arsenal.

Is there any proof whatsoever that the Davis mob gives one iota of concern for The Bahamas?
This is all about the money.
Nothing more.
The living conditions, completely ignored by this administration will continue to get worse.
If you wanted a better country, any smart person knows you have to educate them.
We still import foreign teachers. What does that say about the PLPs commitment to educating our people?
No teacher should receive less money than say a MP.
An MP is only there to take for themselves, whereas a teacher gives back to the country.
But, it would take an educated person to see this.
Far too few PLP voters can properly write their name.

Porcupine says...

Supporters of PLP have become too stupid to think or to judge character.
They are happy getting their crumbs that fall from the mouths of these charlatans.
With the level of national ignorance, nothing can improve.
