This guy is jumping up to comment on everything now without engaging his brain first in many instances. Apparently getting too excited about seeing himself in the papers and on TV alot more in recent weeks.
Yet when you try to talk about the gross educational and training deficiencies in the country, Bahamians want to get offended as if what you are saying is not reality. We as Bahamians believe we are better overall as a population than we truly are, and many of us are too entitled to see an accept truth and sense.
This is yet another teachable moment for press and politicians. The Auditor General is required by law to provide his report to the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. From the moment you heard Bonnie & Clyde suggest otherwise you ought to have known it was a lie if you know what happens with the process of audits by the Auditor General.
It's high time people stop giving Ms. Pratt a pass because she is a church lady and is revered as such. The Auditor General is a Constitutional and Statutory Office with roles and responsibilities. Ms. Pratt has to know better than what she is saying, and if not, she ought not speak at all on this and just continue to quietly collect the political patronage check she is now getting via Urban Un-newal
Since when is a contractor not finishing work a criminal matter? On the face of it, this would be a civil matter. The focus needs to be on the politicians and senior public officials who are signing off on and carrying out this corruption, in addition to the contractors who have failed to complete work they were paid to carry out.
This whole debacle is now as sublime as it has become hilarious. I would bother to point out just how much this argument depicts a huge departure from the spirit of Carnival itself, but what's the point.
