Meanwhile, the FNM's leader is outside the courts making declarations that the FNM will break the constitution and law if elected to favor friends, family and others in the Cabbage Beach matter. What a beautiful life.
What I find interesting is this. The Police in conjunction with Public Prosecution offer plea deals in exchange for protection - not civilians. Smith and Co didn't get these confessions as a result of potential criminal charges that were waived in exchange for the claims. The initial story says the men were promised protection - promised by whom and protection through what means? What civilian can lawfully offer an alleged criminal protection from their crimes that are punishable under the law? If you come to me and tell me you were paid to murder and harm people, and I grant you aid or comfort in any way, I become an accessory as per the Penal Code. Murder conspiracy is a Class C criminal offense, the highest category of offenses in law. You mean to tell me that all Fred Smith & Co are seeking for their lives being threatened and bountied, is a "permanent injunction" against Nygard while the alleged murder conspirators get off scott free with a load of money in their hands? So a piece of paper is supposed to stop Nygard from paying people to kill people, as Smith & Co allege he has done? If these men were not loyal to their first alleged bosses who paid them no doubt well in their minds, then what makes Smith & Co expect to be safe from these guys by paying them some more money? Why would individual Bahamians be so silent for so long about their lives being threatened and the police not investigating, only relying on a press release and a request for an injunction to bring light to it? I'm not suggesting there is no truth at all to any of this, I just have many questions about it.
I've been saying this for god knows how long. He ought to have been made persona non grata eons ago, if ever granted permanent residency at all. Nygard is the classic example of what a farce our system is as well as the people who run and make it.
Oh, is it **obvious** truly? Didn't know we knew any of these guys personally or knew of this matter and its details before it made it to court documents and column inches in a paper. There very well can be more to this than that, I dont think any of us here know for certain.
I didn't read all of the documentation but, how did they get these guys to snitch on themselves if that is in fact what happened? Under what conditions would confessed murder conspirators simply give up that kind of information?
Do you want to know the worst part of all this? **Nothing will come out of it, even though it is also now in print.** This is the kind of degenerate nation we live in.
Hey Pintard, remember Grand Bahama? The place you want to run in, but the place that almost never gets any of your attention because I suppose you think that these two Cubans provide more star power potential?
