Freddie Boy at work leaking info to the press to cause a ruckus over nothing and divert attention away from the many more important and relevant transgressions of our PM and his failed policies. Tribune fell for it hook line and sinker!
Owen Bethel, like his good friend Ishmael Lightbourne, has been harboured and protected by a crooked PM (PGC) and all three of them, by their own admissions in to many in the public, belong behind bars, period!!!!
Well, now you can call or write in public that the PM, Bradley Roberts, Alfred Gray, Sean McWeeny, Alfred Sears and many others like them are nothing more than common criminals, amongst other things, and not have to worry in the least about the Privy Council ever supporting a finding of libel or slander against you. What crooked SOBs - All of them!
I'm not surprised Christie is in bed with this bold brazen criminal.....especially after what our lamed brain PM had to say about Ishmael Lightbourne. As for Sears, well I guess most don't know about his checkered past at a young age, but he certainly is flying his true colours now in his zealous representation of this criminal Numbers racketeer.
Notice how not a single QC has a word to say in public about the PM's self-confessed outrageous abuse of power. Cat got the tongue of the likes of Sean McWeeny, Brian Moree, Brian Simms, Sir Orville, et al. We are now truly doomed as this means the Bahamas Bar Association/Council are apparently comfortable with the PM's trangressions as a lawyer, no matter how egregious they may be. It could also mean being a QC today has little significance in terms of one's stature, principles, professional decorum, etc., unlike the days of yore.
No breaks of any kind should be given to those who have not paid, as they will be the same ones not to pay in the future! Let the axe fairly and equitably fall where it may, even if it means our Public Treasury reaps a huge windfall and becomes by far the largest real property owner in the country. A business that hasn't been paying has had a most unfair advantage relative to its competitors, many of whom have probably gone out of business as a result of their honesty. The dishonest property owners must now be made to pay a dear price, period! no breaks for anyone and stop with the excuses about possible unemployment as this is just government once again engaging in vote buying or favouritism to business cronies who throw money their way come election time!! Start enforcing the law by targeting all of Christie's friends who have enjoyed his favouritism at the expense of the average hard working honest Bahamian!!!
A good investigative journalist or fair minded whistle blower needs to shed light on the sweetheart of a deal the Albany developers are getting on their real property taxes. $1 million is probably pittance in comparison!
For each day that the dump burns and smoulders, every single sitting MP and Senator should be made to stand 1,000 yards downwind of the toxic fumes without a gas mask for a period of not less than 3 continuous hours. These stupid lame brain politicians obviously could not care less about the health and well being of the people they were elected to represent and serve. Our elected and appointed government representatives allowing innocent small children and elderly citizens to suffer miserably from a plight like this is absolutely beyond comprehension. The inhumanity here is criminal by any definition!
